Tiivistelmä
This study aims to find out if the technology could replace the old-and-faithful pen-and-paper method as a driver’s logbook.
The basic framework is the Design Science paradigm, and the study aims to evaluate if the artefact is viable or not. To obtain this evaluation the study focuses on examining the effectiveness of a system per process -time spent - per event in a process of logging the trips made. The reason for why the logging process should be made is out of scope of this study.
The systems can be made in many different ways but as the smart phones are currently popular, the smartphone-based solutions are preferred in this paper.
