The purpose of the thesis is to create a guide and a country profile of South Korea that will help both businesses and individuals who decide to do business, travel or move to the country. From a company's point of view, I will address the potential risks, issues, and other information when importing goods from South Korea. From the individual's perspective, I will bring up information about the culture, the people and how it generally is to live in the country. The final project will consist of two parts. The first part is a theoretical part in which I will take up the general facts about the country, such as economics, politics, geography, religion and culture, etc. The second part of the thesis will be an empirical part, which means that I will make a qualitative survey to obtain information on the country from both private individuals and companies. In the empirical part, I will also present the results I have come to the survey
