Tiivistelmä
The goal of the thesis was to examine the impact of the concepts of culture, human resource management and strategic human resource management. A man without a culture is like a man with no identity, so the identity of people needs to be identified for effective unity in diversity.
The findings of the thesis show that cultural diversity is an inclusive aspect of almost all communities and countries in the world. The richness of these cultures in terms of cultural values, languages, interactions, social and business habits makes our communities very rich with the potentials available to excel and progress when cultural diversities is viewed as strengths and opportunities rather than as threats or weaknesses.
Based on the findings of the thesis, it shows that a cross-cultural managerial approach to handling cultural differences brings out the highest outcome of a diverse but unified culture. A system approach to cross cultural management is a good way to avert some challenges of unity in diversity.
