The thesis aims to propose a customer service platform for manufacturing customer which is reconfigurable. The proposed reconfigurable service platform aims to reduce the redundancy of efforts for Fluido resources in building or enhancing existing customers service platform. The changing way of manufacturing requires customers to make changes in their IT systems and adopt modern automation and intelligent systems which are reconfigurable. The proposal is build based on the data collected through interviews, workshops and meetings with service consultant and customers. A huge amount literature was referenced in the form of scholarly journals, publications and standard books.
The service design was proposed to management which covers all the weaknesses and strengths of the existing service platforms used by manufacturing customers. The validation was done from service leads about the design. The proposal also covers the implementation plan for the new reconfigurable service platform.
