Lean Office Concept is a business methodology that is aiming at improving business processes by eliminating waste that exists within processes.
The research was conducted in order to explore the subject of Lean Office and apply it successfully to the R-Pro Consulting company. Therefore, the thesis starts with an introduction and theoretical background of Lean Office, which is followed by the analysis of the case company, and the research of employee’s behavior and attitudes. The last part ‘guidance – tools application’ represents the prac-tical part, where advices and guidelines are presented for the case company based on the research and tools of the methodology.
Lean methodology application involves deep cooperation with employees. People are seen as a core power that will lead to the success of the method. Thus, the research part of the thesis is dedicated to gathering information about and analyzing staff behavior. Information collection was made through interviews and the data analysis was conducted by using qualitative research. The main conclusions of the research show that people are deeply dissatisfied with the management policy but are totally satisfied with their co-workers.
