It is always a struggle for companies to develop and stay competitive and this is the reason why project work has taken shape. Today you can find the term project in each and every newspaper and therefore I chose the topic Project Work for my thesis. The aim with the thesis is to with one project as a starting point make clear how the actors involved view funding and also find out, among other things, their requirements and expectations of the project. In the theory part of the thesis I present an overview of the project and its roles. I describe further details on financing, risk management and how to do the follow-up to the project. My thesis is based on a rather small project, Project Medvind, dealing with a very current topic, wind power. I have conducted interviews and sent out questionnaires through email and the result is largely a compilation of the responses I received. The compilation gives all the actors’ perspectives on the project. The result shows that funding for projects are formal and requires knowledge of the recipient. The project idea must be concrete and feasible in order to be eligible. The funding consists of 70% EU-support, 25% municipal co-financing and 5% own money, in other words, company money. Then, based on the project plan, the project starts and the follow-up is depending on a good project plan. As for risks, there are fairly large variations depending on the project size.
