Tiivistelmä
The Capital Women Newspaper has experienced nearly 30 years of development. The Newspaper is also a very famous media agency in Vietnam. At this moment, the organisation has faced some difficulties in maintaining capable journalists as well as recruiting new employees. For this reason, it is required to establish a new human resources management policy as an effective instrument for the future improvement of the Newspaper. The purpose of this study is to develop a new human resources approach. The thesis is commissioned by the Vice Editor-in-chief of the Capital Women Newspaper.
The thesis examined both quantitative and qualitative research method. The theoretical part included some philosophies related to human resources management. The thesis also presents particular theories about recruitment. The empirical part comprises some surveys and interviews to analyse deeply the current human resources situation of the Newspaper. The author has collected 50 answers from respondents as well as conducted an interview with the manager. The outcome of the results were summarised and examined carefully by some statistics method.
The objective of the thesis is to propose some recommendations to the new human resources policy of the Newspaper. The organisation also expects to implement the new policy along with the establishment of the new hearquarter in 2015. The author hopes to support the Newspaper in its future enlargement.
