TIIVISTELMÄ Niiranen, Sari. Avopalvelu Amalian kotikäyntityön tuotteistaminen. Pieksämäki, syksy 2010, 39 sivua, liitteitä 1. Diakonia-ammattikorkeakoulu. Language: Finnish. Pieksämäki, Autumn 2010. Diaconia University of Applied Sciences. Degree Programme of Social Services. Degree: Bachelor of Social Services. The aim of this thesis was to find out how Amalia open care unit`s home visiting can better help municipalities with child care and make a product of home visiting, which can be marked to municipalities. The theory of the thesis was child care and the intoxicant rehabilitation aspect to home visiting. The practical result of this thesis project showed that Amalia’s work is intoxicant rehabilitation with a child care aspect. Work is done with families who have children under 3 years old or pregnant women. Amalia is a child care unit and work is follows the law of child care. The research was carried out with an email questionnaire to child welfare workers of communities. I also did an assignment for the work group in Amalia. So I have both, Amalia’s and child welfare`s, aspects in this thesis. The results were positive and showed that both, child care and the work group, thought that home visiting is important work and they hoped that this work will continue. Based on the results I did a product of home visiting and it can be send to networks and different municipalities.
