This thesis examined the wasteland areas and their temporary use in the center of Lohja. The aim of this study was to create an operating model which provides a chance for temporary use of wasteland areas by involving local residents. The aim was also to come up with ideas for temporary use of a selected wasteland area which can later be implemented. The research problem of this thesis was to find out how wasteland areas’ temporary use in the center of Lohja could be developed. The research problem’s sub-questions were the following: how wasteland areas use is planned at the moment, where the wasteland areas in the city-center are and what kind of use is being hoped for wasteland areas. The theoretical framework of this thesis viewed central concepts related to wasteland areas such as land-use planning, involvement and participation, crowdsourcing as well as pop up activities. In addition, the thesis also dealt with different kind of examples of involvement and participation of the residents. Matters closely related to wastelands and temporary use were raised such as urban farming, Karhupuisto’s godparents and squatting. The research was conducted as a qualitative research. The city of Lohja’s environmental director, city plan architect and city planning architect were interviewed. The thesis used theme interview as a research method because it is an effective and quick way to obtain information from the desired subject. The other used methods were observation and a future workshop. A map of wasteland areas in the city-center of Lohja was drawn based on the observation and ideas gathered from the future workshop for Haikari’s wasteland area’s temporary use. A large number of ideas were invented in the future workshop for the wasteland area’s temporary use. The results from the future workshop indicated a desire to find a useful use for the area. Threats and challenges were first collected in the workshop towards the area if it is not taken in use for example within the next five years. In the opinion of the participants three biggest threats were uncertainty about the future, image damage and a risk of being littered. Solutions to these threats were for example general information, increased communal activities and to bring sheep to the area. It is possible to develop the area significantly in the coming years by taking into account the local residents with the ideas from the workshop....

The purpose of my thesis is to introduce the procedure of the adjustment of debts of a private individual and all its main features and stages. Along with that I will also cover insolvency in connection to excessive indebtedness of a private individual, especially through the basis of the social force majeure. The definition of adjustment of debts of a private individual has been outlined with the main features, the stages, the means and the legal effects of the adjustment of debts. In the 1990s the credit control was decontrolled, which resulted in duplication of the amount of granting of credit and tens of thousands of households descended into extensive debt problems during the recession. The Finnish act on the adjustment of the debts of a private individual was enacted while the recession was at its deepest and it came into effect on February 8th 1993. The act on the adjustment of the debts was designed to help the excessively indebted individual, even with rather strong measures, but on the other hand the act shouldn´t have any weakening effects on the general payment performance. The adjustment of the debts is designed to help the individuals, who have got into debt because of a change of circumstance. The general causes that define the requirements of the adjustment of debts are pursued to prevent the sorts of adjustments of debts, that could weaken the general payment performance. Social force majeure on the adjustment of debts of a private individual means insolvency which has resulted from a change of circumstance. The adjustment of debts is possible to grant for an insolvent debtor, assuming that the insolvency is based on essential weakening of the debtor´s solvency, mainly through no fault of one´s own, because of illness, disability to work or because of another change of circumstance. The changes of circumstance mentioned in section 9 of part 1 of the Finnish act on the adjustment of the debts of a private individual usually influence the debtor´s solvency instantly. The nature of the changes of circumstance can also affect the debtor´s solvency indirectly. Indirectly inflecting changes of circumstance considered as social force majeure can for example be the changes on family relations, such as divorce or a change on obligation to provide maintenance. According to the act the cause of the social force majeure doesn´t necessarily need to affect the debtor herself (or himself) but for example spouse´s illness or unemployment might cause essential change of circumstance to a principal debtor´s solvency. My thesis begins with the introduction and proceeds until the chapters in which I introduce the research material and the research methods and after that I give a general overview on the main features of adjustment of debts on a private individual. In chapters five and six I analyse the social force majeure and its prerequisites for the adjustment of debts. The purpose of my thesis is to explain the relevant means of coping for a private individual, when the adjustment of debts falls on him (or her). Salibandyseura Sport Club Hyvinkään markkinointisuunnitelma

Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli laatia markkinointisuunnitelma salibandyseura Sport Club Hyvinkäälle. Markkinointisuunnitelma käsittää nykytila-analyysin, markkinointimateriaalin sekä tärkeässä osassa on sosiaalisen median strategia seuralle ja sähköisen markkinoinnin kehittäminen. Toimeksiantajina opinnäytetyössä olivat Sport Club Hyvinkään hallituksen puheenjohtaja Marko Lahtinen ja valmennuskoordinaattori Jari Lehtonen. Markkinointisuunnitelmassa keskityttiin seuralle tärkeisiin markkinointiviestintämenetelmiin. Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli antaa Sport Club Hyvinkäälle tietoa, kehitysehdotuksia ja ohjeita markkinointiin, jotta siitä saataisiin järjestelmällistä ja jatkuvaa. Markkinointisuunnitelman avulla seuran tavoitteena oli saada lisää näkyvyyttä, panostaa tyttöjen salibandytoimintaan sekä saada lisää harrastajia.
Opinnäytetyön teoreettinen viitekehys koostuu kahdesta osasta, jotka ovat yhdistyksen markkinointi ja sähköinen markkinointi. Yhdistyksen markkinoinnissa käsitellään urheiluseuran markkinointia, markkinointia yleisesti käsitteenä, markkinointisuunnitelmaa, SWOT-analyysia ja benchmarkingia. Sähköisessä markkinoinnissa on käsitelty sosiaalinen mediaa, Facebookia, verkkosivuja ja sähköpostimainontaa.
Markkinointisuunnitelma aloitettiin tekemällä Sport Club Hyvinkäästä nykytila-analyysi, joka sisältää seuran taustat, tavoitteet, toimenpiteet ja SWOT-analyysin. Sport Club Hyvinkää aloitti koulukiertueen helmikuussa ja tähän koulukiertueeseen tehtiin markkinointiesite. Markkinointisuunnitelmaan on kirjattuna kehittämisideoita Sport Club Hyvinkään verkkosivujen uudistamiseen. Markkinointisuunnitelmassa on myös Sport Club Hyvinkään Facebook-markkinointiopas, jolla seuran joukkueet voivat tehdä julkaisuja yhdenmukaisesti ja systemaattisesti. Lisäksi Sport Club Hyvinkää jatkaa koulukiertuetta ja tähän koulukiertueeseen tehtiin kyselytutkimuspohja, jolla saadaan tehtyä markkinatutkimusta ala-astekouluissa Hyvinkäällä ja kehitettyä juniorityttöjen salibandytoimintaa.
Markkinointisuunnitelmasta tehtiin Sport Club Hyvinkään toimintaa tukeva ja se sisältää seuralle tärkeiden markkinointikanavien hyödyntämistä monipuolisemmin. Tällä tavoin saadaan seuralle lisää näkyvyyttä. Sosiaalisen median strategialla seura saa lisättyä näkyvyyttä, jos se osataan kohdentaa oikein ja seurasta saadaan henkilö toteuttamaan Facebook-markkinointia säännöllisesti. Opinnäytetyössä kirjatuilla kehittämisideoilla Sport Club Hyvinkää voi uudistaa verkkosivut osaavan tekijän kanssa. Näin Sport Club Hyvinkää saisi visuaaliset ja selkeät kotisivut. Kyselytutkimuspohjasta tehtiin Word-versio, jonka voi tulostaa kouluissa tehtävää kyselyä varten. Sport Club Hyvinkää saa helpommin tehtyä analyysit viemällä tulokset Google Driveen. Seura voisi myös tehdä kyselytutkimukset Google Drivella. Tämä helpottaisi niiden tekemistä ja tulokset tulevat suoraan Google Driveen. Näin tulokset säilyvät siellä ja tulosten vertailu on helpompaa vuosittain....

Suomalaisten suuryritysten talouspäättäjien työnhakukäyttäytyminen ja urapolut

Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli tutkia suomalaisten suuryritysten talousjohtajien ja -päälliköiden työnhakukäyttäytymistä ja urapolkuja sekä selvittää suorahaun yleisyyttä heidän rekrytoinnissaan. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli saada tietoa, miten ja kuinka usein suurten yritysten palveluksessa olevat talousjohtajat ja -päälliköt vaihtavat työpaikkaa, missä määrin he työllistyvät suorahaun avulla ja kuinka usein ulkopuoliset tahot ovat heihin yhteydessä, tarjoten uusia työmahdollisuuksia.
Työn teoreettinen viitekehys rakentui uran, työpaikan vaihdon sekä rekrytoinnin ympärille. Ura ja urapolku-osiossa avataan uran määritelmää ja urapolkuja, selvittää miten tehdään urasuunnittelua ja perehdytään urakehitykseen. Teoriassa käsitellään myös henkilöstön vaihtuvuutta, siihen liittyviä tekijöitä ja sen vaikutuksia. Rekrytointia selvitetään tarkemmin työnantajan näkökulmasta ja tarkastellaan lähemmin erilaisia rekrytointikanavia, erityisesti suorahakuun keskittyen.
Opinnäytetyön toteutustapa oli kvantitatiivinen eli määrällinen tutkimus ja aineisto kerättiin sähköisen e-lomakekyselyn avulla. Tutkimuksen kohderyhmän muodostivat suomalaisten suuryritysten talousjohtajat ja -päälliköt, joista käytetään tässä opinnäytetyössä myös yhteisnimitystä talouspäättäjät. E-lomakekysely lähetettiin sähköpostitse tutkimusluvan myöntäneiden yritysten talouspäättäjille syyskuussa 2015. Kysely kohdistui 65 talouspäättäjään ja vastauksia saatiin 32 kpl, jolloin vastausprosentiksi muodostui 49,2 %. Aineisto analysoitiin Excel-taulukkolaskentaohjelmalla ja ristiintaulukoinnin avulla selvitettiin talousjohtajien ja -päälliköiden välisiä vastauseroja.
Tutkimuksessa ilmeni, että talousjohtajat ja -päälliköt työllistyvät tyypillisimmin lehti-ilmoitusten ja omien kontaktiverkostojensa kautta. Suorahaku oli selvästi yleisempää talousjohtajien työpaikan vaihdossa, kuitenkin tulosten perusteella talousjohtajat ovat työllistyneet uransa aikana vähintään kerran suorahakuyritysten kautta. Talousjohtajat ja -päälliköt vaihtavat työpaikkaa toiseen yritykseen kerran 10 vuodessa tai harvemmin, työtehtäviä vaihdetaan tyypillisesti noin joka kolmas vuosi. Uusien työmahdollisuuksien tarjoaminen ulkopuolisten tahojen toimesta on verrattain vähäistä; suorahakukonsultit ovat yhteydessä vastaajiin muutaman kerran vuodessa tai harvemmin ja suurin osa vastaajista ei ollut saanut työtarjouksia suoraan työnantajilta viimeisen 12 kuukauden aikana.
Tutkimuksen avulla muodostui kattava kuva talouspäättäjien työhakukäyttäytymisestä ja urapoluista. Lisäksi tulosten perusteella saatiin uutta tietoa eri rekrytointikanavien tehokkuudesta ja suorahaun yleisyydestä kohderyhmän rekrytoinnissa....

Cost efficiency in ISS Landscaping services This dissertation deals with subcontracting and the developing of the subcontracting process. The objective of the dissertation is to examine the international conglomerate of the real estate field and unit which functions in its subordination. In the unit the purpose is to examine its subcontracting process and how the subcontracting process could be intensified. In the area contract of Kaarela it is a question of the project begun by the subscriber. In the treatise an attempt has been made to describe a wider process and to bring it closer to the problem section: ISS landscaping services cost efficiency. The widest part of the treatise processes public purchases and clients responsibility in the area contract of Kaarela. These matters have been dealt with in a theory share. After this we studied internal processes of ISS Services and where ISS landscaping is placed on. A questionnaire has been used as a research method to the persons in charge of the area contract of Kaarela in this section. Investment calculations have been used as the last research method in the internal processes of ISS Landscaping. Three functions have been marked off as the problem sections: leasing, mowing crushing and freezing and caring of icefields. These three problem sections are concrete problems based on which the investment calculations have been carried out. The study shows that in the subcontracting processes it is still inefficient. In the study it appeared that internal and external communication should be improved in ISS Landscaping. Communication towards interest groups and indside the organisation should be improved, so that resources could be allocated better for the next season. The investment calculations also indicate that ISS Landscaping should take at least some of the functions and use less sub-contracting. This also is supported the questionnaire view that ISS Propertyservices and ISS Landscaping operations should partly merge. Synergic advantages would be created particularly from the combining of machines in which case the resources could be freed for other functions....

Mäntsälä Expo 2016 event The topic of this thesis was the Mäntsälä Expo 2016 event and it was commissioned by Mäntsälän Yrityskehitys Oy. The main objective of this thesis was to establish whether the concept of the Mäntsälä Expo was still attractive and how to organize a successful event during the organization and implementation of this exhibition. The assignment was also to participate activly in the project group, develop fairs, produce a project description as well as give development proposals for forthcoming events. A group of Laurea UAS’s students took part in the organization and implementation of the event. Mäntsälä Expo 2016 took place in the first weekend of April 2016. The theoretical frame of this thesis was based on event management. The sources used were both domestic and foreign literature. The study was made as an exploratory development activity. The research method was qualitative, but a quantitative research method was also used to support the qualitative research. The study was made as a survey for exhibitors and exhibition visitors. The survey was distributed to exhibitors through an electronic questionnaire made with Google Forms. The link to the questionnaire was sent immediately after the fair to all exhibitors by e-mail. There was a total of 80 exhibitors, of which a total of 42 responses were received. The response rate was 53 %. The survey for the exhibition visitors was made during the event by filling in a questionnaire. A total of 266 responses were received. The number of visitors was 1 911, so the response rate was 14 %. The response rate was quite low, but the respondents represented the population well. In addition the stand sales, the number of visitors, the number of visitors to the website and Facebook were studied based on the statistics. The results showed that both exhibitors and visitors to the Mäntsälä Expo 2016 were mainly satisfied with the fair. The fair received an average grade of 3.8 in a five-digit Likert scale from the exhibition visitors, which can be considered excellent in this case. Mäntsälä Expo 2016 event The topic of this thesis was the Mäntsälä Expo 2016 event and it was commissioned by Mäntsälän Yrityskehitys Oy. The main objective of this thesis was to establish whether the concept of the Mäntsälä Expo was still attractive and how to organize a successful event during the organization and implementation of this exhibition. The assignment was also to participate activly in the project group, develop fairs, produce a project description as well as give development proposals for forthcoming events. A group of Laurea UAS’s students took part in the organization and implementation of the event. Mäntsälä Expo 2016 took place in the first weekend of April 2016. The theoretical frame of this thesis was based on event management. The sources used were both domestic and foreign literature. The study was made as an exploratory development activity. The research method was qualitative, but a quantitative research method was also used to support the qualitative research. The study was made as a survey for exhibitors and exhibition visitors. The survey was distributed to exhibitors through an electronic questionnaire made with Google Forms. The link to the questionnaire was sent immediately after the fair to all exhibitors by e-mail. There was a total of 80 exhibitors, of which a total of 42 responses were received. The response rate was 53 %. The survey for the exhibition visitors was made during the event by filling in a questionnaire. A total of 266 responses were received. The number of visitors was 1 911, so the response rate was 14 %. The response rate was quite low, but the respondents represented the population well. In addition the stand sales, the number of visitors, the number of visitors to the website and Facebook were studied based on the statistics. The results showed that both exhibitors and visitors to the Mäntsälä Expo 2016 were mainly satisfied with the fair. The fair received an average grade of 3.8 in a five-digit Likert scale from the exhibition visitors, which can be considered excellent in this case.
