Työtyytyväisyys Yrityksessä X

Tässä opinnäytetyössä on tutkittu taloushallinnon alalla toimivan Yritys X:n HRM-yksikön työtyytyväisyyden nykytila vahvuuksineen ja kehittämiskohteineen. Lisäksi haluttiin tehdä vertailu Yritys X:ään liikkeenluovutuksella siirtyneiden työntekijöiden ja Yritys X:ään itse työhön hakeneiden työtyytyväisyyden välillä. Tavoitteena on ollut tuottaa Yritys X:n johdolle ja esimiehille materiaalia työtyytyväisyyden kehittämiseen.
Tutkimuksen teoreettisena viitekehyksenä käytettiin työtyytyväisyyden teorioita. Niiden pohjalta syntyi kvantitatiivinen tutkimus, jonka välineenä käytettiin työtyytyväisyyttä mittaavaa kyselylomaketta.
Tutkimustuloksista selvisi, että Yritys X:n työntekijät olivat kokonaisuudessaan melko tyytyväisiä. Tyytyväisiä oltiin erityisesti sujuvaan yhteistyöhön työtovereiden kanssa, tiedotukseen, työaikojen riittävään joustavuuteen, itse työhön ja työtehtävien riittävään monipuolisuuteen. Lisäksi positiivisina asioina koettiin erilaiset etuudet, kuten työterveyshuolto, perjantain aamiainen ja ateriaetu.
Liikkeenluovutuksen kautta siirtyneiden työtyytyväisyyden taso oli hieman heikompi kuin itse hakeneilla. Liikkeenluovutuksessa siirtyneet olivat erityisesti tyytymättömämpiä etenemis-mahdollisuuksiin, vaikutusmahdollisuuksiin sekä työnjaon oikeudenmukaisuuteen.
Suurimmat kehittämiskohteet liittyivät työn organisointiin. Työnjaon oikeudenmukaisuus, palkitseminen, perehdytys, koulutus, lomien sijaistusten organisoinnit ja työympäristö herättivät osassa tyytymättömyyttä. Esimiehiltä kaivattiin parempaa reagoimiskykyä ja tiiminvetäjiltä oikeudenmukaisuutta....

Development of electronic direct marketing for Rautakesko Oy This thesis is a description of a project the main goal of which was to develop a cost effective eletronic direct markerting system for Rautakesko's professional customers. Rautakesko was planning to put more effort into the marketing to professional customers and improving sales figures. The Main goals of the project was to create a system for electronic direct marketing, maintenance of electroric customer register and making sure direct marketing system can be used without problems in future. The new electronic direct marketing system was meant to be built to support normal direct marketing that can improve curtomer profitability and improve sales to the professional customers. Achieving the goals required cooperation with other members of the project, investigation of other companies and their solutions and working closely with third party service providers. The project moved forward according to schedule and a cost effective electronic direct marketing system was created with Websonic Oy. The system makes it possible to reach a large number of customers quickly and easily. It also supports our request for smooth and easy to use customer register maintenance. At the end of the project the main goal was achieved and Rautakesko started to use the electronic direct marketing system as planned....

Development of an orientation programme for Suomalainen Kirjakauppa The purpose of this Bachelor’s thesis was to develop an orientation programme for the target company Suomalainen Kirjakauppa, situated in Jumbo shopping mall. The aim of the project was to create a functional and logical programme for the new salespeople. Orientation is one of the most neglected processes in companies. With the high quality of the orientation proc-ess a company can maintain various benefits. The project was important and useful for the target company because the company has not earlier had an orientation programme. The orientation process has not been standardized and for this reason the orientation has varied among new employees. At the beginning of the project the current situation of the orientation was surveyed by themed interviews. A questionnaire was used in the beginning of 2008 to clarify the thoughts about orientation. The questionnaire was handed out to the employees of the Suomalainen Kirjakauppa store in Jumbo. Literature and electronic sources were used to obtain the ade-quate information in order to develop a functional orientation programme. The results of the interviews and the questionnaire show that the biggest area of develop-ment was the varying level of the orientation. This problem was solved by creating a detailed programme which guides the orientation trainer through the orientation process. Other aims were to clarify the responsibilities during orientation and to ensure the sufficient time for orientation. The clarifying of the responsibilities was solved by defining the trainer for each area of the orientation. By following the structure of the orientation programme the suffi-cient time for orientation is ensured....

The implementation and deployment of the customer oriented electronic desktop for regional entrepreneurial services The aim of the thesis was to complete and pilot an electronic desktop. In addition, the thesis describes the implementation of this platform and the end user experiences. The guiding principle was to create a one stop shop, resulting in a customer oriented approach and networking between the operating organizations of western Uusimaa's regional enterprise services. Changes in economic life, industrial policy network of operators and the development trends in the companies were used as the key data for the thesis. The goal of the thesis is not to be research oriented, although it includes surveys supporting development work. These surveys were conducted in the form of questionnaires as well as thematic interviews and group interviews. The survey target group comprised fifteen contact persons from the regional enterprise service organizations. The end product of the thesis is an electronic desktop and its user guide. The electronic desktop performs two functions. First of all, the field of enterprise can transmit its advisory needs making them public knowledge among the participating organizations. Thus, the entrepreneur no longer has to hunt for the correct source for advise, instead the advisory services will find the entrepreneur. Secondly, the desktop serves as a data transmission channel within the participating organizations. The electronic desktop was launched at a training session. Its usability was evaluated through a questionnaire and interviews. After the first experiences the functionality and usability was still further developed. The new electronic desktop will require its own dialogue between the users and the technology. As a result, it was decided that the foremost further development would focus on building a working substitute system and clear rules to attain smooth customer oriented operation....

Divorce and secondary claims The subject of my thesis is the always current divorce and other claims related to it. Divorce is a very hard situation to handle and there are many different issued that have to be settled in the same context. The process of divorce has been made very simple and easy in Finland. The basic law that enacts marriage is the Marriage Act. The object of my thesis is to find out how divorce and secondary claims are enacted in the Finnish law. Secondary claims can be divided into two groups. Firstly there are claims that are directed to a child: custody and occupation, visitation rights and alimony, and secondly there are claims that settle the financial relations of the spouses: appointing the executor, division and pali-mony. In a certain way a possible claim about ending the relationship as a couple is precedes all of those other claims. Ending the relationship as a couple is often actualized first during the divorce process. As a result of my thesis I have set guidelines of establishing an application, enclosures that are required to an application and clarified briefly and clearly the process in petitions. These guidelines are meant to be used in the office of the District Court of Vantaa. The purpose of the guidelines is to help the office staff in their every day work and also facilitate customers. With the help of the guidelines a customer can easily check what information there should be in an application. In this way the process can at its best be accelerated....

Innovations survey in the Centre for Geriatric Medicine Innovations are important for all organisations. Innovations make progress possible and also enable organisations to discover new solutions for their operations. Innovations and innovativeness can be promoted in the organisation with the right leadership and organisational culture. The purpose of the thesis was to conduct an innovations survey in the Centre for Geriatric Medicine, which is a part of the City of Espoo’s social and health services. In the innovations survey the target group was asked general questions about their relation with innovations and innovativeness. The target group also had a possibility to answer an open question, and propose new innovations, ideas or thoughts about improving and developing their work and working environment. In addition to the innovations survey the thesis also includes a theoretical section concerning theory about innovations. The objective of this thesis was to probe and examine the relationship that the staff of the Centre for Geriatric Medicine has with innovations and innovativeness, how innovative their working environment is and what innovations, ideas or thoughts they might have in order to develop and improve their own work and the workplace in general. The results of the survey were used to answer the research problems. The theoretical section of the thesis presented the birth, development and nature of innovations and innovativeness, the structure of an innovative organisation, innovative leadership and the innovation survey. The theory section examines innovations and innovativeness from the point of view of the organisation as well as the individual. In addition different innovation theories were discussed. An innovations survey was conducted for the purpose of this thesis. The survey was conducted by using an electronic structured questionnaire, which was sent by e-mail to the target group of head nurses, enrolled nurses, practical nurses and nurses of the Geriatric Centre. 19 questionnaires were returned with additional 16 different innovations, ideas or thoughts. The results indicated that members of the target group who answered were generally interested in new innovations and wanted to participate in creating new innovations. They were also interested in professionally developing themselves and their workplace. Additionally, the results also suggested that they were interested in participating in development of innovations in the future. The work environment was also seen as being friendly towards new innovations....
