Henkilökohtaisen tavoitteen merkitys menestystekijänä verkostomarkkinoinnissa

Opinnäytetyössä tutkittiin henkilökohtaisten tavoitteiden merkitystä menestystekijänä. Verkostomarkkinoinnissa tavoitteella tarkoitetaan esimerkiksi tietyn aseman saavuttamista orga-nisaatiossa. Tämä opinnäytetyö jakautui kolmeen osaan: teoriaosaan, tutkimusosaan sekä esimerkkihenkilöihin.
Teoriaosuudessa tutkittiin menestykseen vaikuttavia tekijöitä sekä tavoitetta käsitteenä. Tutkimusosuudessa haastateltiin kahta ryhmää. Ensimmäinen kohderyhmä oli verkostomarkkinointia tekevät ja vertailuryhmänä muuta työtä tekevät. Esimerkkihenkilöistä molemmat tekevät verkostomarkkinointia, mutta erottavana tekijänä ryhmillä oli asennoituminen tavoitteisiin. Opinnäytetyön oheistuotteena valmistui diasarja, jota voi käyttää koulutusmateriaalina verkostomarkkinoinnin jälleenmyyjäkoulutuksissa.
Kun tavoitteet ovat realistisia, toteutuvat ne myös suuremmalla todennäköisyydellä. Toteutuneet tavoitteet taas motivoivat eteenpäin. Tavoitteen merkitys korostuu erityisesti menestystä hakevien keskuudessa. Tutkimus osoitti, että tavoitteilla nähtiin olevan merkitystä työmotivaation lisääjänä.
Esimerkkihenkilöillä on tarkoitus kuvata se, kuinka omalla asenteella on merkitystä tavoitteiden saavuttamisessa. Esimerkkihenkilöt Susanna ja Johanna ovat tyyppiesimerkkejä henkilöistä, jotka ovat lähteneet verkostomarkkinointiin mukaan....

Single Euro Payments Area effects on Sampo Pankki and companies SEPA (Single European Payments Area) is a common project which is developed by European banks, national banks and also the European central bank. The purpose was to create connected standards and conventions for payments and payments traffic. The purpose of the SEPA project was that companies and private persons can pay and receive payments with the same principles in domestic and in foreign payments. The SEPA project consists of the most common payments methods such as card payments, bank transfers, EU payments, direct debiting, and for example salary payments. Regionally SEPA will affect 27 EU countries, 3 ETA countries, and Switzerland. The thesis was made as a project for Sampo Pankki. Sampo Pankki is a part of Nordic Danske Concern. Sampo Pankki has 1.1 million private customers, and 100 000 company and corporation customers. Sampo Pankki is specialized in traditional bank products, such as house loans. Sampo Pankki also offers services for savings and investments. The researcher works at Sampo Pankki as a service advisor. The purpose of the thesis was to evaluate how the SEPA project affects Sampo Pankki and companies. It also evaluates what changes and actions the project will create. The objective was to create a clear image of SEPA project standards, laws and effects on companies and Sampo Pankki. Five companies took part in the research. Two of them operate internationally, and three nationally. In the research the objective was to interview payments traffic leaders and also Sampo Pankki’s product manager. The research finds that the effects on domestic companies were smaller than the companies that operate internationally. The program affected changes in both the international and domestic companies. New programs did not create so many changes operatively. The biggest change was the introduction of a new Xml standard. The change appeared in Sampo Pankki as in companies that were interviewed. The change was big because the Xml standard will replace the old system and it has to be fused inside the company’s current payments system. Most of the changes will appear in a change of payments terminals, direct debiting, scheduling and for example salary payments fusing to the company’s systems....

The goal is to reform the customer feedback system that works, and will use the information in order to feedback from customers on the quality of travel agency services. Customer feedback on the exploitation of the study explains the development of customer satisfaction with service. Customer satisfaction may be best to way to get customer feedback. With an effective customer feedback system and feedback Travel Agency Hispania Ltd can develop their own operations and services to become more customer-friendly. The theoretical framework includes the customers, service, marketing, customer satisfaction and customer feedback for the development of theories. Travel Agency Hispania Ltd's own customer feedback form was used for collecting the feedback. Customer feedback was collected by Travel Agency Hispania from travelers to the Azores during 2009. Customer feedback was collected on their holiday on a feedback form on paper. Customer feedback, the recording of the results and analysis was made with Microsoft Excel - spreadsheet program and presented in diagrams. On the whole, the result was very positive. Travel Agency Hispania Ltd's customers have been satisfied with the service and product. For the most part Travel Agency Hispania Ltd's tours were reserved from the website or a personal visit to a travel agency. Customer satisfaction was measured on the services and products such as tours. Customers have been very pleased with Travel Agency Hispania Ltd's activities. The Azores attract customers to an exotic nature and landscape of the island, and there are many activity on offer. Also the quiet atmosphere and friendly local people is one reason on the feedback to choose a holiday in the Azores. Travel Agency Hispania Ltd was chosen as the tour operator because it is the only Finnish travel agency which travels to the Azores with direct flights. Travel Agency Hispania Ltd's selection criteria were also reliability, individuality and the specialist of tourism. Feedback information will be used in Hispania’s operations. Suggestions for improving and developing services were also made based on the results of the customer feedback....

Outsourcing of product training - from concept to business model The purpose of this thesis was to study the out-sourcing of product training as a business concept. The study focuses mainly on creating a working business model based on a hypothesis. The hypothesis was based on ten claims which involved the present activity of a company, the product to be trained to use of and the outsourcing partnership. The business model's main content consists of factors that affect the profitability of outsourcing product training, the advantages and disadvantages of outsourcing and the different forms and degrees of a outsourcing partnership. Since globalization and economic recession are driving companies to rethink their operations and their business in order to stay competitive in the world market, the subject itself is very interesting and current. Product training is the one part related to many enterprises in the technology industry that is too often overlooked. It is not only a financial decision to out-source product training, the study clearly shows that it is very strongly linked to customer satisfaction. The main methodology of the research was the interviews with five companies in the technology industry. Two goals were set for the interviews: to try out the business model for outsourcing product training based on the hypothesis and to define different factors affecting out-sourcing of product training based on previous experience and knowledge from the companies interviewed. The purpose of the qualitative approach was to gather new information in addition to testing the hypothesis. The study proved the out-sourcing of product training to be a valid strategic business solution. The product being trained for was the main factor in the out-sourcing. Out-sourcing of product training clearly favors more standardized technology products which preferably have a low update frequency. The more seldom you need to update the trainer's knowledge, the more profitable it is to use a third party trainer. The providers of highly customized solutions and systems felt that the use of a third party trainer would be a waste of time and resources....

Tilitoimiston tilaus-toimitusprosessin kehittäminen Case: Päätili Oy

Tässä opinnäytetyössä oli tarkoitus kuvata tilitoimisto Päätili Oy:n kirjanpitoprosessin nykytila. Nykytilan selvittämisen jälkeen oli tavoitteena kehittää prosessia ja luoda tiedot taloushallinto-ohjelman lisäosan luomiseen. Opinnäytetyön toisena tavoitteena oli saada luotua järjestelmän sisältö, jonka avulla Päätili voisi lähteä viemään asiaa eteenpäin ja mahdollisesti järjestelmän toteuttamista.
Toimeksiantaja tilitoimisto Päätili Oy tarvitsee kirjanpitäjiensä käyttöön ohjelman, jonka avulle he pystyvät hallinnoimaan omia asiakkaitaan ja heidän kirjanpitonsa tilaa. Työssä tarkastellaan kirjanpidon prosessin nykyhetkeä ja sen ongelmia. Idean pohjana on vuoden 2010 verotiliuudistus, jonka takia Päätilissä halutaan olla varmoja siitä, että kirjanpitäjillä on mahdollisimman hyvät työkalut hoitaa oma työ paremmin.
Työn teoriaosuudessa on käsitelty, mitkä ovat prosessin keskeiset asiat. Lisäksi on käsitelty, mitä kaikkea prosessin kehittämiseen kuuluu ja miten sitä kehitetään. Myös prosessien auditointia ja tulosten arviointia on tutkittu.
Opinnäytteessä on kuvattu yhden Päätilin kirjanpitäjän työprosessi. Prosessi purettiin osiin ja sen eri osa-alueita tarkasteltiin. Prosessi kuvattiin käyttäen sekä vuokaaviolle että kirjallisesti. Järjestelmän perusta syntyi palaverien pohjalta, joita työryhmä kävi.
Tuloksissa oli tärkeintä, että työ sai luotua pohjan tulevalle ohjelmistolle. Ohjelman tiedot syntyivät työryhmän yhteisen vision perusteella. Ohjelman runko on kuvattu taulukkona, niin että siitä käy ilmi, mitä kaikkea ohjelmassa tulisi olla. Tämän lisäksi kohdat on selitetty yksityiskohtaisesti. Tämän suunnitelman perusteella Päätili lähtee selvittämään järjestelmän toteutusta. Tämän lisäksi työ loi muutaman kehitysehdotuksen kirjanpidon nykyisen prosessin parantamiseen.
Työssä saatiin selville ongelmia, mitä nykyisessä kirjanpidon prosessissa voi ilmetä. Näihin liittyvät kehitysehdotukset ja niiden vieminen käytäntöön on tulevaisuudessa Päätilin ratkaistavissa, otetaanko ne käyttöön.

Joni Vigren Personal investment strategy The purpose of this thesis is to discover an ideal investment strategy . The thesis concentrates especially on value, growth and index investment. Other essential themes are diversification, allocation and market psychology. The objective is to define a strategy which suits to an individual life situation, capability to take risks and personal objectives. The material for the thesis has been collected from financial literature and from the internet. The time period is between the beginning of the 19th century to 2010. Geographically the primary focus of the study is on stock markets in United States of America, secondary Europe and Finland. Some of the most respected investors of the world have influenced the background of value investing, such as Benjamin Graham and his student Warren Buffet. According to some research the value strategy outperforms the market as a whole. Warren Buffet, who has succees with this strategy, is an excellent example of this. Benjamin Graham, who is known as a guru of value investing, changed his thinking during the last years of his life in the 1970s. In his opinion value investing was not anymore profitable for most investors. In addition the investing environment has changed since Benjamin Graham´s days. According to the random walk-theory, the stock prices provide all available information. On the basis of this theory it is very hard to outperform the market. The first index funds were established in the mid-1970´s based on the random walk-theory. The establishers believed that price distortions are rarely in markets, the markets are almost efficient. The easiest and probably the most profitable approach is to invest directly in indexes. It is important to examine psychology in the markets. The essential elements of market psychology in stock investing are fear and greed. Stock investors are human beings who are influenced by emotions. These emotions achieve actions (activities), which do not necessarily lead to optimal investments. The essence of successful investing is decentralization and allocation. Can e-learning be utilized better than it is used now? - Case Helsinki OP Pankki Oyj Developing the skills of learning has become a substantial part of company strategy and success. Apart from core competence, it is important that the learning of personnel is continuously developing in the competitive world. The technical development has shown a new tool – the network environment. The network environment started to be used in companies for e-learning because it provides invaluable benefits. E-learning gives new perspectives and possibilities for learning and developing know-how but does not replace other methods of learning. E-learning can be seen as the current trend for learning methods, but it should be remembered that it is a tool just as something else. The benefits have been noticed and therefore its popularity has been greatly increasing. The individual´s and organization's activity and desire to learn can be seen as the most important factors in learning and developing know-how. Continuously evolving and changing working life needs people who have the ability and will to learn and develop continuously. OP-Pohjola group is the leading Finnish finance group, which consists of individual cooperative banks and their main association OP-Keskus and its subcompanies. In OP-Pohjola group the companies, OP-Keskus and its member banks, are complying with division of labour by group strategy. The thesis concentrates on the development of know-how and network learning in the process of developing the know-how in the OP-Keskus subcompany, Helsinki OP Pankki Oyj. The objective of this thesis is to create a good image about developing the know-how, e-learning, using the e-learning in the company and the ideal model of developing the know-how in the learning organization. The research describes the current situation of e-learning in Helsinki OP Pankki Oyj. The final result presents good basics of theory on developing the know-how and gives development ideas for better utilization and development of e-learning in the target company. The most important objective was to investigate if e-learning can be utilized more in the target company. For the thesis a qualitative research was executed as a case study and the working method was interviewing. The interviews were used to get information about the current status of e-learning and to discover possible problems that could be used for developing the e-learning. The study clarified that the biggest challenge and problem in utilizing the e-learning is lack of time. The organization had no clear objectives that should be reached by e-learning. E-learning is used in many different ways and randomly, which means that there are no standard and precise methods for using it. The utilizing of e-learning could be improved in the organization. The tool can be used even better, but its conspicuousness would have to be increased and its strategy and targets should be more exactly defined. The interviews were used to get information about the current status of e-learning and to discover possible problems that could be used for developing the e-learning. The study clarified that the biggest challenge and problem in utilizing the e-learning is lack of time. The organization had no clear objectives that should be reached by e-learning. E-learning is used in many different ways and randomly, which means that there are no standard and precise methods for using it. The utilizing of e-learning could be improved in the organization. The tool can be used even better, but its conspicuousness would have to be increased and its strategy and targets should be more exactly defined. Viraalimarkkinointikampanjan toteutus Laurea-ammattikorkeakoulun Vantaan alueyksikön opiskelijamarkkinoinnissa

Kevään 2009 ammattikorkeakoulujen yhteishaussa Laurea-ammattikorkeakoulun Vantaan alueyksikössä kokeiltiin ensimmäistä kertaa sähköistä Internetissä tapahtuvaa viraalimarkkinointikampanjaa uusiopiskelijamarkkinoinnissa. Kampanja toteutettiin kehittämispäällikkö Satu Hyökin alaisuudessa Laurean Vantaan alueyksikön mediatuottajan ja markkinointiassistenttien toimesta.
Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena on selvittää, kuinka hyvin kevään 2009 viraalimarkkinointikampanjassa onnistuttiin ja kuinka hyvin kampanjalla tavoitettiin potentiaalisia opiskelijoita. Kampanjan onnistumista mitattiin sekä kampanjatuloksia analysoimalla että vertaamalla kampanjalla tavoitettujen henkilöiden yhteystietoja (sähköpostiosoitteita) kevään 2009 ammattikorkeakoulujen yhteishaun hakijatietoihin. Lisäksi kevään 2009 viraalimarkkinointikampanjan tuloksia verrattiin kevään 2010 vastaavaan kampanjaan.
Opinnäytetyön teoriaosuudessa käsitellään viestintää, sen murrosta Internetin aikakaudella sekä Internetin mahdollistamia uusia markkinointiviestinnän muotoja, jotka luovat pohjan opinnäytetyön tutkimusosalle, jossa tutkittiin Laurean ensimmäistä viraalimarkkinointikampanjan toteutusta.
Opinnäytetyön tuloksena syntyi analyysi kevään 2009 viraalimarkkinointikampanjan onnistumisesta. Tärkeimpänä tuloksena kevään 2009 viraalimarkkinointikampanjasta selvisi, että kahdeksan kampanjaan osallistunutta haki Laureaan kevään 2009 ammattikorkeakoulujen yhteishaussa. Tuloksien ja tavoitteiden pohjalta voidaan todeta, että kevään 2009 viraalimarkkinointikampanjassa onnistuttiin.
Kevään 2010 kampanjaraporttien pohjalta on myös ennustettavissa, että kevään 2010 kampanjan ja kevään 2010 ammattikorkeakoulujen yhteishaussa hakeneiden välinen lukumäärä tulee olemaan entistä suurempi. Kevään 2009 ja 2010 kampanjoiden tulosten kautta opinnäytetyössä analysoitiin syitä, miksi kevään 2010 kampanja todennäköisesti onnistui paremmin ja koottiin jatkotutkimusehdotuksia mahdollisten tulevien viraalimarkkinointikampanjoiden paremman menestymisen takaamiseksi....

Description and Development of a Product Costing System The management of a company can control the company's finances through facts based on the costing system. Therefore the costing system offers information which can be used as support in decision making. The goal of this thesis is to investigate the case company's product costing system, which allocates cost for products. The first objective was to determine the present state of the company's product costing system and product costing. The second objective was to discover possible problem sections in the product costing system and product costing, and solve any problems found. The description of the product costing system and product costing were used as a base in discovering the problem sections. The main goal of this thesis was to improve the level of information given by the product costing system. The case company already has a product costing system and the system’s development is based on the existing theory. This thesis is executed as a project for the case company. The theory section explores the management accounting and implementation of a costing system. The purpose of the theory section is to help perceive why and how product costs are calculated. The information in the empirical section was gathered up with an active participant observation and open interviews. The results of this project helped improve many problem sections, which were found in the case company's product costing system and product costing. The project also discovered the reason why the information had turned unreliable. The conclusion of this project is that the case company's product costing system can produce reliable information, but it needs to be maintained continuously....
