The objective of the study was to determine in which situations and for whom the light entrepreneurship service is an economically viable choice, and which light entrepreneurship services provide the most comprehensive service and the most affordable price. The objective was divided into three parts, the first of which explored different business forms in Finland to get an easily understandable view of starting a business, the tasks and responsibilities of an entrepreneur, and taxation in different business forms. The second part examined the light entrepreneur services operating in Finland. The prices and contents of the services were compared, with the aim of getting a clear overview of the sector. In the third part, based on these calculations, the profitability of the services was calculated in the various financial situations of the light entrepreneur. In the first part, the study was conducted using legal methods. Jurisprudence studies existing legislation and it was therefore a natural choice as a research methodology. In the second and third stages, comparative research was used as a research tool, as the goal was to compare primarily numerical aspects: the prices of services, the regular income of a light entrepreneur, the net income of a light entrepreneur when using different light entrepreneurship services and the contents of different services. When comparing the prices and profitability of light entrepreneurship services the study focused on the companies' service fees, their possible minimum and maximum amounts, possible other expenses, value added tax, the entrepreneur's pension contribution and the service user's estimated income tax percentage at three different income levels, as well as the estimated monthly income charged through the service at four different levels. The research revealed that it is not possible to define one correct business form or light entrepreneur service for a sole proprietor starting out. Factors contributing to the choice are whether the person wants a business ID, if they are interested in business operations or if corporate bureaucracy is what they want to avoid, how much income the entrepreneurial activity is supposed to bring, and what the person’s salary is and whether the field requires a license. Among the light entrepreneurship services that operate without a business ID, Bisse.fi and Keikkalasku were the most affordable, and Eezy, Floy, Omapaja, Palkkaonline, Toimpiste.fi, Truster and Ukko.fi offered the widest service at the most affordable price. Of the light entrepreneur services containing the business ID, Omapaja and OP kevytyrittäjä were the most affordable, and Ukko.fi offered the widest service. Inevitably, the study was only scratching the surface of entrepreneurship. The point of view was of a starting entrepreneur and the calculations were performed mechanically with example figures. Light entrepreneurship services could be studied more from the perspectives of different sectors, taxation, joint ventures, long-term use, and social security, and compared to widely different business forms....

The purpose of this development work is to help microentrepreneurs solve the challenge of customer invoicing. At the same time, efforts were made to make the company's business more efficient, improve customer satisfaction and reduce the employee's time spent on this activity. The development work investigated how the business life of a microentrepreneur becomes easier after the introduction of a software robot. As a developer, I mapped the robot's intended use, planned its implementation, and manufactured it from start to finish. During the development work, I implemented the RPA_Invoice_Robot software robot on the UiPath Studio software robotics platform. This robot handles customer invoicing on behalf of the user. The data collection was carried out by interviewing the client and videotaping its customer invoicing work process. During the analysis of the videos, the execution times of customer invoicing phases were measured. I will use them in the future when I evaluate and argue the use of a software robot in the customer invoicing process of a microenterprise. After the software robot was manufactured, the profitability of the software robot investment was calculated. The end result was a robot that sped up the customer invoicing process at least 7 times. In the last chapter, further development possibilities for the customer invoicing robot were presented. There, too, new applications suitable for software robotics were discovered in the business processes of the microenterprise....
