The purpose of this thesis was to study how Loppi’s joint service point change has responded to citizens wishes and Loppi’s goals. The aim of this thesis was to give a development proposal for Loppi’s Rosamunda and Loppi’s library based on the findings and theoretical framework. The municipality of Loppi was the commissoner of this thesis. The theoretical framework of the thesis is based on digitalisation and its meaning in the Finnish public sector key projects. The aim was to concentrate on the positive and the negative sides of digitalisation to understand the phenomenon comprehensively. In the theoretical framework of the thesis the development of joint service points and the change of user base is also elaborated. Additionally, self-services was emphasized because the Finnish public sector is reassigning its services from client service to self-service. The study was conducted as theme interviews. Four citizens and five municipal employees on the different levels of organisation participated in the theme interviews. These people were selected because they had the best knowledge of using municipal services. The interviews started in the beginning of April and after that the interviews were transcripted and analysed by thematising and comparison. The results of this study show that the process of change was carried out successfully and the citizens experienced that the change has improved the Loppi’s library’s and Rosamunda’s services availability. The result of this thesis was a development proposal in which the collaboration between the Loppi’s library and Rosamunda would be increased and services determined at least annually. In addition to this, a bigger development plan was made, in which self-services would be increased slowly in the municipal services and at the same time the help services in the use of digital services would be increased. Based on these changes, the outcome is a multi-service library which has a large amount of municipal and public services, produced as effectively as possible....

Development of the recruitment process of production in a personnel services company The goal of this thesis was to get a unified recruitment process for company x, where all HR coordinators working in different industries could do their job in accordance with one set of guidelines. The theoretical basis of the thesis was around recruitment, recruitment strategy, recruitment process in the production, job advertising, applications, interviews, direct search, research, qualitative research, gathering research material, as well as the form of interview. For this thesis I chose a qualitative research method through the form of an interview. I chose this line of inquiry, as the company wanted to find out how the recruiting process is perceived between the different departments, this research also wanted to find out about a uniform line between the different departments. A qualitative study was chosen because of the fact that people's assumptions and feelings about the recruitment process were studied and it was thought to be the best way. However, this study measured the actual quality, precisely and the differences in quality. With a quantitative approach, such a study could not have been carried out. The interview form was chosen as a written form interview due to the fact that the work environment was very hectic, so there was no time for other types of interviews. Even a form interview gave rise to difficulties temporarily. But in the end the necessary answers were received by the deadline. The study was started on 15.12.2015. Firstly we had a brief with my supervisor, connected to what company X wanted to do in this study and why. After this discussion an exploration of the knowledge base was started in order to know the direction in which research was to go. After finding the data base, we were asked to outline the questions that were presented to the HR coordinators working in the various departments. On January 14, 2016, a reading of the knowledge base from books and search of information was started. On April 4, 2016, the writing of the knowledge base began and then the questions for the HR coordinators were drafted. There were a total of six questions, and the questions were sent on July 12, 2017 to seven HR coordinators and five answered. Answering time for HR coordinators was three weeks. On 15 August 2017, questions were read and analyzed, and based on them, an interpretation was reached as to how the research problem could be answered with the issues raised. The analysis of the questions was completed on 23.11.2017. The thesis was sent for evaluation and a reading a tutorial for the tutor on 31.12.2017. The most important results were that recruitment in company x is very consistent and things are systematic in all sectors. In terms of interpreting applications, more attention should be paid to the type of applicant than to how the work history of the application has been described and recorded. Also, in the case of post-monitoring, it should be improved and done in every way, systematically and consistently, whenever more people are recruited. Digitaalisen markkinointisuunnitelman laatiminen kasvuyritys FinPower Foodille

The aim of this thesis was to carry out a digital marketing plan for a Finnish start-up company FinPower Food. By the digital marketing plan the start-up would launch themselves in the social media. The theoretical framework of the thesis charts the behaviour of Finnish consumers in the social media, how social media marketing has evolved and social media as a concept. In addition the two major social media channels Facebook and Instagram are studied. The thesis was conducted as a qualitative study by utilizing semi-structured theme interview. The interview frame, that was drawn up beforehand, was used in the theme interviews. The study was executed for four different interviewees, who were chosen based on the customer profiles that were composed by the founder of FinPower Foods. The customer profiles were based on people that the company hoped to reach with their social media marketing. Based on the results of the theme interviews, the most important channels that turned out to be Facebook and Instagram, were chosen for the company. Also a channel-specific tone of voice was planned. In addition useful information based on the theme interviews was collected. This information was mainly ideas on how to develop the business idea further and make it more tempting for the customer to purchase. Because there were only four interviewees, it can be concluded that the results were more of opinions rather than reliable study results. The collected opinions can still be held trustworthy, because they remind the behavior of a Finnish average consumer behaviour that was studied in the theoretical part of the thesis. Markkina-analyysi Isännöintiyritykselle

Tämän opinnäytetyön toimeksiantajana toimi pääkaupunkiseudulla toimiva isännöintialan yritys, jota kutsutaan myöhemmin nimellä Yritys X. Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli tehdä Yritys X:lle markkina-analyysi isännöintialan markkinatilanteesta ja kartoittaa samalla yrityksen kilpailijoita sekä arvioida alan tulevaisuuden suuntauksia. Työn ensimmäisessä osiossa käsitellään markkina-analyysin eri osa-alueita, jotka ovat: kilpailija-analyysi, SWOT-analyysi ja benchmarking. Kilpailija-analyysissä keskityttiin vertailemaan yritysten tarjoamia palveluita ja talouslukuja, sekä selvitettiin minkälaisia markkinointitoimenpiteitä yritykset tällä hetkellä toteuttavat. Seuraavat osiot käsittelevät markkinointia ja isännöintialaa koskevaa teoriaa, sekä toimeksiantajayritystä. Työn lopussa käydään läpi markkina-analyysin ja markkina-vertailun tuloksia ja niistä tehtyjä havaintoja, sekä kerrotaan tutkimuksesta syntyneet johtopäätökset.
Tutkimustuloksien perusteella voidaan sanoa, että isännöintiyritykset eivät juurikaan panosta markkinointiin. Alan kilpailutilanne on koventunut viimeaikoina, minkä takia yritysten on tärkeää erottua muista toimijoista. Erilaiset markkinoinitoimenpiteet auttavat yritystä erottumaan muista, mutta tätäkin tärkempää on pitää palveluiden taso korkeana ja tuottaa palvelukokonaisuuksia, jotka ovat luotu juuri tavoitellulle kohderyhmälle. Yrityksen on tärkeää osata arvioida tarjoamiensa palveluiden ja nykyisten asiakassuhteiden kannattavuutta, jotta he voivat tehostaa omaa toimintaansa. Digitalisaation edetessä myös isännöintiyritysten täytyy kehittää omia palveluitaan vastaamaan asiakkaiden vaatimuksia. Isännöintiyritykset eivät juurikaan hyödynnä esimerkiksi videoneuvottelun tai chat-asiakaspalvelun kaltaisia palveluita, jotka voivat olla jatkossa tehokas keino erottua kilpailijoista....

Palvelumuotoilun hyödyntäminen sisäisten Service Desk ICT tukipalvelujen kehityksessä

Yritysten digitalisoitumisen johdosta ICT tukipalvelujen nopea ja tehokas saatavuus on entistäkin tärkeämmässä osassa. Huono ja hankalasti tavoitettava tukipalvelu aiheuttaa liiketoiminnalle haasteita sekä kasvavia kustannuksia. Opinnäytetyössä selvitettiin keinoja parantaa Yritys X Service Desk tukipalvelua palvelumuotoilun työkalujen avulla.
Palvelumuotoilun toimintatavat perustuvat perinteisessä muotoilussa käytettyihin kehittämismenetelmiin joilla voidaan helposti havainnollistaa palvelujen mahdollisuudet, heikkoudet sekä kehitystarpeet. Palvelumuotoilu sopii olemassa olevan toimintatavan kehitykseen. Näistä syistä opinnäytetyössä tarkasteltuja palvelumuotoilutyökaluja pidettiin sopivina Yritys X:n Service Desk tukipalvelun kehitykseen ja työkaluista tärkeimmäksi valittiin asiakkaan palvelupolku joka visualisoi ja havainnollistaa palveluprosessin haasteet.
Tämän opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli löytää palvelumuotoilun avulla keinoja, joilla voidaan parantaa yritys X:n nykyistä Service Desk tukipalvelua sellaiseksi, jossa asiakas kokee tulleensa henkilökohtaisesti palvelluksi unohtamatta palvelun laatu- tai kannattavuuskriteerejä.
Opinnäytetyön taustaksi suoritettiin koko yritys x:n henkilöstön kattava asiakastyytyväisyyskysely, jolla kartoitettiin henkilöstön tarpeita ja nykyisen palvelun tilaa.
Tutkimustuloksista kävi ilmi, että palvelun tärkeimmät kehityskohteet liittyivät palvelun tavoitettavuuteen, paikallisiin tukitarpeisiin vastaamiseen sekä itsepalvelumahdollisuuksien lisäämiseen. Kyselyn tulosten perusteella luotiin kuva nykytilanteesta. Valittujen palvelumuotoilutyökalujen avulla näihin ongelmakohtiin luotiin yhteensä kolme realistista kehitysehdotusta sekä kolme ratkaisua, joista yritys voi itse valita sopivimmat niiden jatkojalostukseen.
Työssä käsitellään palvelumuotoilussa yleisesti käytettyjä menetelmiä, työkaluja ja prosesseja, joiden avulla pyritään saavuttamaan asetettu tavoite. Lopputuloksena muodostetuissa ratkaisuissa on otettu huomioon alan yleiset trendit. Opinnäytetyön lopputuloksena yritykselle tuotetaan kolme kehitysideaa sekä kolme ratkaisumallia niiden toteuttamiseen....

Digitalisaation mahdollisuudet markkinointiviestinnässä

Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli tutkia digitalisaation mahdollisuuksia markkinointiviestinnässä. Kohdeyrityksenä toimi helsinkiläinen lahja- ja sisustustavaraliike. Tavoitteena oli selvittää kuinka kohdeyritys saa digitalisaatiosta parhaan hyödyn markkinointiviestinnän suunnittelussa ja kehittämisessä. Kohdeyrityksen toiminta on aikaisemmin painottunut tukkuliiketoiminnan puolelle, mutta viime vuosina on perustettu kaksi kuluttajille suunnattua liikettä, jonka vuoksi markkinointiviestinnän kehittämiselle oli tarve. Kohdeyritys toimii erikoiskaupan alalla, joka on suhdanneherkkää, joten talouden vaihtelut heijastuvat siihen helposti. Alalla on kova kilpailu ja haasteita tuovat erityisesti verkkokaupat ja ulkomaiset toimijat.
Teoriaosuus aloitettiin ottamalla selvää digitalisaatiosta ilmiönä ja sen tarjoamista mahdollisuuksista. Liiketoiminnan uhat kartoitettiin teoreettisen viitekehyksen sekä kilpailija-analyysien avulla. Tarkoituksena oli löytää kohdeyritykselle sopivimmat digitaalisen markkinointiviestinnän keinot ja kanavat huomioiden yrityksen koko, sijainti ja käytettävissä olevat resurssit. Pääpaino oli markkinointiviestinnän kehittämisessä ja käytännönläheisten ratkaisujen löytämisessä. Lisäksi perehdyttiin tämän päivän asiakkaiden tarpeisiin ja mieltymyksiin markkinointiviestinnän näkökulmasta.
Yrittäjän kanssa käydyt teemahaastattelut toimivat yhtenä tiedonkeruumenetelmänä. Teemahaastatteluja järjestettiin yhteensä kolme ja niiden pohjalta kerättiin tietoa kohdeyrityksen markkinointiviestinnän tilasta, yrittäjän toiveista sekä käytettävissä olevista resursseista. Tietoa koottiin paljon erilaisista kirjallisista ja sähköisistä lähteistä. Verkkosivujen perustamisessa apuna käytettiin syvähaastatteluja, joiden tulokset raportoitiin. Markkinointiviestinnän kehittämistä varten kohdeyrityksen toimintaa ja liiketoimintaympäristöä analysoitiin kilpailija- ja ympäristöanalyysin avulla. Kohdeyrityksen ja lähellä vaikuttavien kilpailijoiden vahvuuksista ja heikkouksista luotiin 8-kenttäinen SWOT, joka havainnollisti kohdeyrityksen tilaa ja asemaa markkinoilla.
Tutkimuksen myötä tuli ilmi, että digitaalisesta markkinointiviestinnästä on hyötyä kohdeyritykselle. Onnistuneen markkinointiviestinnän avulla asiakkaiden tietoisuus yrityksestä ja sen tarjoamista tuotteista kasvaa. Tunnettavuuden ja löydettävyyden lisääntyminen vaikuttaa positiivisesti yrityksen liikevaihtoon. Onnistuneen markkinointiviestinnän kautta erotutaan alan kilpailijoista. Asiakkaat viettävät paljon aikaa internetissä, joten yritysten on oltava siellä missä asiakkaatkin. Näkyvä ja tehokas markkinointiviestintä on asiakaslähtöistä. Asiakkaat arvostavat vuorovaikutusta, yksipuolisen viestinnän aika on ohi. Kohdeyrityksen kannalta on hyvä, että digitaalinen markkinointiviestintä on kustannustehokasta, eikä pieni budjetti ole este onnistumiselle. Verkossa kannattaa olla aktiivinen ja rohkeasti esillä. Kohdeyrityksen löydettävyyden parantamiseksi perustettiin verkkosivut. Konkreettisina keinoina kohdeyritykselle laadittiin markkinointikello, johon on koottu eri kuukausille ehdotuksia kampanjoista, kilpailuista ja päivityksistä. Tutkimuksen myötä tuli uusia ideoita mahdollisista jatkotutkimusaiheista sekä kehitysehdotuksia liiketoiminnan kehittämiseen....

Mentoring part of development of career path This thesis deals with mentoring as part of university student’s development of career path. University students in this thesis are students in both university of applied sciences and university students. The aim of the study was to investigate the influence of the mentoring programmes on the development of career path of the actors in Suomen Mentorit ry. The subject was selected because it was current and the authors had interest towards the present employment situation of university students. The aim was to study how the mentoring programme organized by Suomen Mentorit ry has influenced the development of the career path of the actors during the mentoring programme and after that. It was also investigated whether the mentoring programme has influenced the actors’ job applications. The second most important reason for applying for a mentor was finding a job and the most important reason to apply a mentor was charting one’s own knowhow. The theoretical framework of the thesis consisted of mentoring and career path development. The thesis also highlighted differences and similarities between mentoring and job counseling. In addition, the aim of the thesis was also to study why the mentor should be acquired inside or outside the organization. The amount of literature on mentoring outside of the workplace was quite limited. It was also challenging to find such literature on mentoring that would have been dealt with mentoring in case there is no job yet. The thesis process was carried out using qualitative research. Questionnaires were utilised to study the development of a career path. The inquiry was sent to the previous actors of Suomen Mentorit ry. The frame of the questionnaire was based on charting the personal experiences of the actors and the benefits of the mentoring programme from the perspective of career path. Based on the replies of the questionnaires, the most important results of the mentoring programme offered by Suomen Mentorit ry was the importance of mental matters such as selfawareness. Increasing self-knowledge gives for example the courage to apply for jobs that you have previously not dared to apply. Therefore, it can be explained that 67,6 procent of the actors were employed for the desired sector of working life during or after the mentoring programme. The questionnaire confirmed the importance of Suomen Mentorit ry as a contributor in employment of university students. In addition, the end result of the study was a frame for the mentoring programme of Suomen Mentorit ry, in which the needs of working life were taken into account....

It was also challenging to find such literature on mentoring that would have been dealt with mentoring in case there is no job yet. The thesis process was carried out using qualitative research. Questionnaires were utilised to study the development of a career path. The inquiry was sent to the previous actors of Suomen Mentorit ry. The frame of the questionnaire was based on charting the personal experiences of the actors and the benefits of the mentoring programme from the perspective of career path. Based on the replies of the questionnaires, the most important results of the mentoring programme offered by Suomen Mentorit ry was the importance of mental matters such as selfawareness. Increasing self-knowledge gives for example the courage to apply for jobs that you have previously not dared to apply. Therefore, it can be explained that 67,6 procent of the actors were employed for the desired sector of working life during or after the mentoring programme. The questionnaire confirmed the importance of Suomen Mentorit ry as a contributor in employment of university students. In addition, the end result of the study was a frame for the mentoring programme of Suomen Mentorit ry, in which the needs of working life were taken into account....
