The thesis explains the work of a category planner and how to improve it´s working methods in Heinon Tukku. The aim of thesis was to research theoretically the tasks of the category planner, improve cooperation between stakeholders, creating new and improve already existing tools which are used constantly. The theoretical part describes the main company, Heinon Tukku, it´s procurement operations and working methods of the category planner. The research method of this thesis is represented in the end. It has been used qualitative research methods in the thesis. The data was collected by making a theme interview and analyzing the data afterwards. The data gave a good perspective for current situation and the challenges that category management has to face. The biggest challenge that occurred was the process of product release and how to improve it. The evaluation of the research results was proven advisable based on the interviewees, author of the thesis and at the employer´s point of view. Based on the thesis results can be interpreted that the improvement spots are improving process of product release, improving current statistical tools and how to create new ones....

Pienten ja keskisuurten yritysten hallinnolliset velvoitteet : viranomaiskyselyt

Opinnäytetyön tavoite oli listata pienille ja keskisuurille yrityksille saapuvia viranomaiskyselyitä, selvittää näistä aiheutuvia kustannuksia ja kerätä mielipiteitä ja ajatuksia liittyen näihin kyselyihin haastattelemalla eri toimialoja edustavia pieniä ja keskisuuria yrityksiä Länsi-Uudellamaalla. Työn tilaaja oli Länsi-Uudenmaan kauppakamari. Opinnäytetyön on tarkoitus toimia yritystoiminnan kehityssuunnittelun pohjana.
Opinnäytetyössä tietoperusta rakentui tutkimuksista ja kirjoitelmista liittyen yritysten, erityisesti pienten ja keskisuurten yritysten, hallinnollisiin kustannuksiin ja näiden erittelyyn, hallinnollisten kustannusten laskentaan, yrityskoon määrittämiseen sekä nykyisen hallituksen ja muiden viranomaistahojen suunnitelmiin vähentää yritysten hallinnollista taakkaa Suomessa.
Tiedot opinnäytetyön selvitystä varten hankittiin haastattelemalla Länsi-Uudellamaalla toimivien eri aloja edustavien pienten ja keskisuurien yrityksien edustajia. Selvitystä varten haastateltiin viidellä eri toimialalla toimivien yrityksien edustajia. Haastateltuja henkilöitä oli yhteensä kahdeksan, näistä kolme oli yrittäjiä. Isompia yrityksiä edusti henkilöstö-, talous- ja turvallisuusvastaavia. Haastattelut toteutettiin puolistrukturoidulla kysymyspohjalla, jolla selvitettiin viranomaiskyselyiden saapumisväliä ja määrää, kyselyiden vastaamiseen kuluvaa aikaa sekä mahdolliseen ulkopuolisen avun tarvetta.
Haastatteluissa selvisi, että yrityksille saapuu monia erilaisia viranomaiskyselyitä vuoden aikana. Suurin osa yrityksille saapuvista kyselyistä liittyy yleisesti yrityksen liiketoimintaan, muun muassa liikevaihtoon, vienteihin ja tuonteihin, verotukseen ja henkilöstöön. Suurin osa kyselyistä saapuu kuukausittain, mutta joihinkin kyselyihin tulee vastata joka kolmas kuukausi tai kerran vuodessa. Kuukausittain saapuviin kyselyihin kuluu vähiten aikaa, sillä niiden täyttö on tehty mahdollisimman yksinkertaiseksi. Vuosittain saapuvien kyselyiden täyttäminen oli kaikkein työllistävintä. Haastattelujen tulokset on kirjattu opinnäytetyössä anonyymeinä.
Johtopäätöksenä esitettiin, että Suomessa viranomaiskyselyt on järjestetty hyvin ja niiden käyttäjäystävällisyyteen on panostettu. Suomessa myös sähköisten järjestelmien käyttö tiedusteluissa on yleistä ja uusia helpompia järjestelmiä kehitetään koko ajan, esimerkiksi vuonna 2019 käyttöön tuleva KATRE-palvelu lähettää palkkatiedot suoraan niitä tarvitseville tahoille. Viranomaisvelvoitteista syntyviä kustannuksia tulisi kuitenkin suhteuttaa paremmin yrityksen koon ja liiketoiminnan mukaan....

Asiakastyytyväisyyskysely Millitilit Oy:lle

Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli selvittää tilitoimiston asiakasyritysten asiakastyytyväisyys ja siihen vaikuttaneita asiakastyytyväisyyden tekijöitä. Opinnäytetyö tehtiin toimeksiantona Millitilit Oy:lle. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli saada lisää tietoa asiakaslähtöisemmän liiketoiminnan ja asiakastyytyväisyyden kehittämiseen sekä havainnoida mahdollisesti esiin nousevia kehittämiskohteita. Tilitoimiston asiakastyytyväisyyttä ei oltu mitattu aikaisemmin.
Tutkimuksen teoreettinen viitekehys muodostui pääasiassa Suomen Taloushallintoliitto ry:stä, asiakastyytyväisyydestä ja palvelun laadusta. Opinnäytetyössä käsiteltiin myös lyhyesti käsitteitä digitaalinen taloushallinto ja palvelun laadun johtaminen. Lähdeaineistona tutkimuksessa käytettiin erilaista ammattikirjallisuutta, sähköisiä aineistoja sekä yrityksen omistajan haastattelua.
Asiakastyytyväisyystutkimus toteutettiin joulukuussa 2016 kvantitatiivisena tutkimuksena, jossa sähköiset kyselylomakkeet lähetettiin sähköpostilla asiakkaille. Lähetetyt kyselylomakkeet laadittiin Surveymonkey-ohjelmalla. Vastauksia kertyi yhteensä 21 ja vastausprosentiksi muodostui 35%.
Tutkimustulosten perusteella asiakastyytyväisyys Millitilit Oy:ssä todettiin olevan kiitettävällä tasolla. Eniten tilitoimiston palveluissa arvostettiin asiakaspalvelua, ammattitaitoa ja yhteydenpidon sujuvuutta. Onnistuneista tutkimustuloksista huolimatta tilitoimiston täytyy pysyä jatkuvassa kehityksessä mukana ja pyrkiä asiakaslähtöisempään toimintaan. Tilitoimiston palveluiden kehittäminen tapahtuu pienin ja suunnitelluin toimenpitein, joilla pyrittäisiin pysyvään muutokseen. Kehittämistoimia voisi olla ainakin palkanlaskennan toimivuudessa ja aikataulujen suunnittelussa....

The thesis was made as part of the development of the commissioning company's recruitment process. The aims were to find out Company X's recruitment process strengths and areas for improvement. Quantitative research was carried out with an electronic questionnaire, which targeted that had been in a job interview within the last three months. The form was sent to a total of 1,452 persons, of which 246 people responded to the survey. Respondents were divided into area, age, and gender. The zoning divide covered Helsinki, Southern Finland, Western Finland, Eastern Finland and Northern Finland. Ages were grouped between 18-26, 27-35, 36-44 and 45-53 then over 54 years of age. The survey focused on examining the job applicant after submission of the job application and during and after the interview. The questionnaire also allowed the possibility to give feedback openly regarding Company X's recruitment process. The survey results revealed that the applicants wished for informative and clear information about Company X's operating principles, and how it would affect the applicant, if he or she entered into an employment relationship with the company. Based on the results it was found that it was of paramount importance to keep applicants informed of the process, especially after interviews. This would create confidence between the company and with the applicant, and he or she would feel valuable. In the future, it would be interesting to carry out similar study using a deeper, qualitative research method. This would enable the research to focus more on negative feedback. The research should be conducted by interviewing people from completely different circumstances, so that the results would be as realistic as possible. The theoretical part focused on the personnel services sector, temporary agency work, as well as the different stages of the recruitment process, which the interviews particularly focused on....

Reinforcement of a Brand Image The topic of this Bachelor’s was reinforcement of a brand image. The primary objective of the study was to find out how to reinforce case company’s brand image as cost-effectively as possible. The purpose was to find out how to get this case company more well-known and to get new customers. Also, the purpose was to get concrete suggestions to the case company. The case company operates in insurance business. This subject was chosen subject because the case company wanted to do a thesis about this subject. The study includes a theoretical section that dealt with content marketing, customer experience and social media marketing. As a research method in this thesis an inquiry and a situation analysis was used. The inquiry was executed in July 2017. The inquiry got 575 answers and the response rate was 11,8%. The questions were about customer satisfaction, about the mental image of the case company and what kind of content would they like to receive in social media. The inquiry indicates that customers have a positive mental image about the case company and also, they are satisfied with the situation right now. The target group would like to have more information about the content of insurances they have bought and from different kind of benefits. The best kind of advertisement would be a story like advertisement. Facebook and YouTube were the social media channels that the target group uses the most so the marketing should be concentrating on those channels. Through the results of the research and theory some tips for the case company were made. This thesis project examines the effects of introducing the IFRS 16 standard to company X’s accounting and financial statement. The thesis was started by mapping the company X’s need for the research and it was considered to be timely to clarify the impact of the IFS 16 standard for the company. Additionally, the author was interested in learning about IFRS standards, so the topic was chosen easily. The thesis was commissioned by a large Finnish construction company, which is referred to as company X in this thesis report. The research problem of the thesis investigates how the new IFRS 16 standard will change company X’s accounting and what kinds of effects it will have on the key figures of the financial statement. The main purpose of this thesis was to clarify what the IFRS 16 standard is and how it will change company X’s activities in accounting. In addition, the aim of the research was to demonstrate the effects of the new standard’s introduction with concrete examples. The thesis was conducted using a qualitative research method. Theoretical knowledge from different sources was collected, and interviews were conducted with the two financial managers of the company to help the author become oriented to the current lease processing methods using the IAS 17 standard. The thesis results showed that the new IFRS 16 standard will mainly affect the company’s balance sheet and the key figures, which are calculated by using the numbers of balance sheet. This is due to the fact that the former standard IAS 17 divided leases between the finance leases and operative leases. Finance leases are recorded to the balance sheet just as the new standard, but the operative leases were excluded from the balance sheet. Now operative standards are transferred to the balance sheet and this affects the leasing debt and fixed assets, which are growing in the company’s balance sheet. There were some development ideas which came to prominence by executing the thesis. The main idea was to find some system to make the process process of leases more efficient. In addition, company X should think about IFRS 16 standard’s application initiating at the same time with IFRS 15 standard. It could save the resources during the process of change....
This thesis project examines the effects of introducing the IFRS 16 standard to company X’s accounting and financial statement.
