The E-commerce is growing all the time and companies have an excellent opportunity to sell their products in online stores as well. Using e-commerce allows access to the global market not only for large companies but also for small and medium enterprises. The giant Amazon e- commerce platform also provides opportunities for third-party sales through its e-commerce. By opening a seller account everyone is able to sell on the Amazon web platform, but it requires special knowledge and skills. I chose this topic because I am really interested in selling on Amazon and with this thesis, I can find out how selling on Amazon works and gain a better understanding of Amazon’s operations. The knowledge base of the thesis consisted of extensive knowledge of Amazon FBA and the benefits of how products are launched. The guidelines cover how to find products until the products are launched, and how to make sure that sales on Amazon improve after launch. The thesis is a qualitative research work. The data collection method was used to interview Amazon vendors. The thesis does not have a client and the research is useful for anyone who is interested in starting to sell on Amazon....

The objective of the thesis was to study whether or not the vocabulary and language used or the contents of an appeal have any difference in granting or denying the leave for continued consideration. Moreover, the thesis aimed to provide information for legal assistants on what type of an appeal most often results in granting the leave for continued consideration. The basis of the thesis is the appeals that arrived at the Helsinki court of appeals between the 30th of September 2021 and the 17th of October 2021, and for which the leave for continued consideration was applicable. Furthermore, the decision on the leave had been made by the 25th of January 2022. The short time period for the appeals, is because the court of appeals deletes digital copies of the appeals, when it gives a verdict on a case. The research method for the thesis is legal dogmatic. The thesis focuses on the contents of the appeals, which is why this method is the only option for a study focusing on the vocabulary and language of an appeal. The result of this study was that the district court decision has a greater impact on the leave for continued consideration than any other factor. As the decision was not the target of this research, no certainty can be provided on the matter. The result indicates that the Code of Judicial Procedure has been followed when making the decision on the leave for continued consideration. The study found similarities in the appeals depending on whether the leave for continued consideration was granted and what type of a case was being appealed. There were not enough appeals written by the appellant to draw reliable conclusions about whether using a lawyer influenced the chance of being granted the leave for continued consideration. The thesis also focuses on the leave for continued consideration as a whole and the screening procedure which preceded the leave system....

The worldwide COVID-19 pandemic revolutionized working life in addition to everything else. Digitization accelerated, and many employees transitioned to remote work, but many positions and duties still required physical presence and human contacts. Many employees who worked closely with other people had to expose themselves to greater health risks. The aim of this thesis was to investigate the use of respirators or masks in relation to legislation from the employer's and employee's point of view and how it is considered from the perspective of occupational safety. The objective of the study was to discover whether it is possible to enable a safe working environment through occupational safety legislation in a situation such as the COVID-19 pandemic or whether there are shortcomings in the application and interpretation of the legislation and how they are manifested. Moreover, the study aimed to investigate whether the legislation is sufficient to guarantee a health-safe work environment when a universally dangerous infectious disease such as COVID-19 prevails. The study method of this thesis is legal policy research, where the research question and its goals are approached from a legal perspective, and the research question is examined through valid legislation and legal norms. The main sources of the thesis were the legislation and law drafting documents related to the subject area of the research question, as well as literature and articles in the field. It is not possible to draw definite conclusions based on the conducted studies; however, the results suggest that the individual's right to refrain from wearing a mask has weakened the health safety of employees whose duties require in-office work. Consequently, mental stress factors have also increased. Furthermore, it can be presumed that, in the prevailing situation and in terms of current legislation, employers have not been able to guarantee the employees performing in-office work the opportunity to work in a health-safe manner....
