Päiväkirurgisen potilaan tyytyväisyys Lääkärikeskus Ikiomassa : Kyselylomakkeen laatiminen

Abstract

Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli laatia toimiva kyselylomake, jonka avulla Lääkärikeskus Ikioma voi selvittää päiväkirurgisten leikkauspotilaiden tyytyväisyyttä saamaansa hoitoon ja palveluun. Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena on se, että Lääkärikeskus Ikioma saa kyselyn avulla ehdotuksia päiväkirurgisen toiminnan kehittämiseksi ja voi käyttää laatimaamme kyselylomaketta tyytyväisyyden mittaamiseen myös jatkossa. Kyselylomake on laadittu työn tilaajan kanssa yhteistyössä.

Opinnäytetyön teoreettinen osuus muotoutui tutkimuskysymystemme pohjalta. Teoriaosuudessa käsitellään perioperatiivista hoitotyötä ja sen eri vaiheita sekä selvitetään, mitä tarkoitetaan päiväkirurgisella potilaalla. Lisäksi tarkastellaan palvelun laatua ja asiakastyytyväisyyttä hoitotyön näkökulmasta. Teo-riaosuudessa perehdytään myös kyselylomakkeen laatimisen eri vaiheisiin. Laatimamme mittari eli kyselylomake muodostui teoreettisen viitekehyksen pohjalta. Operationalisoimme eli muutimme teorian käsitteiksi ja mitattavaan muotoon.

Kysely koostuu saatekirjeestä ja kyselylomakkeesta. Mittari muodostuu terveyttä ja elämäntapoja koskevasta esitietolomakkeesta sekä Likert-tyyppisiä väittämiä ja avoimia kysymyksiä sisältävästä kyselylomakkeesta. Palautetta kyselylomakkeesta kerättiin esitestausryhmältä ja toimeksiantajalta. Toimeksiantaja oli tyytyväinen opinnäytetyömme tuotokseen, sillä kyselylomake vastaa hyvin tarkoitustaan selvittää päiväkirurgisen leikkauspotilaan hoitoketjua.

Jatkotutkimusehdotuksena on laaditun kyselylomakkeen toteuttaminen sekä saatujen tuloksien analysointi. Kyselytutkimuksen voisi toteuttaa myöhemmin uudelleen ja vertailla saatuja tuloksia keskenään.

The purpose of this thesis was to develop a well-functioning questionnaire for Medical center Ikioma, to collect information on how day surgery patients feel about their care and services. The objective of this thesis is to provide Medical center Ikioma with a questionnaire that would give them access to get proposals for developing their day surgery activities and to measure the satisfaction of their patients also in the future. The questionnaire is compiled in cooperation with the commissioner.

The theoretical part of this thesis is formed based on our research questions. The theoretical part deals with perioperative care and clarifies what is meant by the term day surgery patients. Further, the theory part examines quality of service and customer satisfaction from the perspective of nursing. The theory part contains also information about how to develop a good questionnaire. The indicator alias questionnaire was formed on the basis of the theoretical frame of reference. We operationalized the theory into concepts and measurable form.

The form consists of a cover letter and a questionnaire. The indicator is formed by a questionnaire consisting of a section for background information about health and lifestyles as well as statements on Likert scale and open questions. Feedback was collected from a pre-test group and the client. The client was satisfied with the outcome of our thesis because the questionnaire enables them to clarify the customer satisfaction of the day surgery patients.

A potential proposal for further research is to implement the questionnaire and analyse the results. The questionnaire could be re-executed later for the comparison of obtained results.
