Abstract

TIIVISTELMÄ Pietikäinen, Niina & Purhonen, Johanna. Alvari-perhetyön ja varhaiskasvatuksen yhteistyön sekä sen kehittämistarpeiden kartoitus. Pieksämäki, syksy 2015, (100s., ja 5 liitettä). Opinnäytetyö oli tilaustyö Lapsen Kengissä ry:ltä ja sen tarkoituksena oli selvittää, millaista yhteistyötä Alvari-perhetyön ja varhaiskasvatuksen välillä on ja miten sitä voisi kehittää. Tutkimukseen otettiin mukaan kaikki ne kunnat, joita Lapsen Kengissä ry:n tuottama Alvari-perhetyöpalvelu tutkimushetkellä kosketti: Varkaus, Leppävirta, Juva, Rantasalmi ja Joroinen. Tutkimus on kvalitatiivinen, eli laadullinen tutkimus, jonka aineisto kerättiin kyselylomakkein. Kohderyhmäksi valikoituivat Alvari-perhetyöntekijät, päivähoidon henkilökunta sekä vielä viranhaltijanäkökulmaksi lastensuojelun johtavat sosiaalityöntekijät ja varhaiskasvatuspäälliköt. Valinta perustui näkökulmiin, joita tutkimuksella oli tarkoitus kartoittaa. Tarkoituksena oli selvittää mahdollisimman kattavasti henkilöstön kokemuksia yhteistyön toteutumisesta. Lisäksi halusimme selvittää, miten yhteistyö näyttäytyy viranhaltijanäkökulmasta ja vaikuttavatko esimerkiksi resurssikysymykset yhteistyöhön. Jokaiselle kohderyhmälle laadittiin omat lomakkeet, jotka olivat kohdennettu koskettamaan kunkin omaa ammatillista näkökulmaa. Kerätty aineisto analysoitiin noudattamalla teoriaohjaavaa sisällönanalyysiä, jonka jälkeen sitä käsiteltiin teemoittelumenetelmän avulla. Tutkimuksen keskeinen tulos oli positiivinen suhtautuminen yhteistyöhön, vaikka yhteistyö näyttäytyykin konkreettisessa työssä hyvin vähäisenä. Aineistosta välittyi ver-kostotyön tärkeys ja sen arvostus. Toimijat ovat tutkimustulosten mukaan myönteisiä yhteiselle kehittämiselle. Erityisen tärkeäksi koetaan yhteistyön mallintaminen ja yhteistyöprosessin määrittäminen. Aineistosta on nähtävissä yhtenäinen linja yhteistyön haasteista ja edistävistä tekijöistä sekä näkemys Alvari-perhetyön ja varhaiskasvatuksen välisen yhteistyön kehitystarpeista.Avainsanat: Alvari-perhetyö, varhaiskasvatus, lastensuojelu, moniammatillinen verkostotyö, kolmas sektori

Our thesis was commissioned by the Federation of Mother and Child Homes and Shelters. The purpose of our thesis was to find out what kind of cooperation there is between the Alvari family work and early childhood education and how it could be developed. The study included all the municipalities, where the Alvari family work service provided by the Federation of Mother and Child Homes and Shelters were carried out at the time of the survey: Varkaus, Leppävirta, Juva, Joroinen and Rantasalmi. Our study was a qualitative research and the data for it were collected by questionnaires. The target group included Alvari family workers, day care staff and, for the official perspective, the leading social workers and early childhood education managers. The choice of the target group is based on research viewpoints, to find out what kind of experiences employees have of the cooperation process. It was also important to notice how cooperation appears to be from the official's point of view and if it is affected by, for example, the resource issues for cooperation. Specific forms were drawn up for each target group, the forms were designed to convey their personal professional perspective. The collected data were analyzed by following the theory content analysis. After that the data were treated by means of thematisation. One of the main findings of the study was the positive attitude towards cooperation, which, however, appears to be at a low level in concrete everyday work. The material conveyed the importance and appreciation of cooperation and networking. According to the study a comma after this work, the interviewees had positive feelings towards joint development. Particularly the modeling of cooperation and determining of the cooperation process were considered very important. The material shows a coherent approach to the challenges of cooperation and to factors promoting it as well as a vision of the de-velopment needs for the cooperation between Alvari family work and early childhood education.
