Asiakastyytyväisyyskysely Vantaan hoitoapupalvelua käyttäville perheille

Abstract

Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli selvittää hoitoapupalvelua käyttävien perheiden tyytyväisyyttä, toiveita ja kehittämisehdotuksia palvelua kohtaan. Tarkoituksena oli myös kuvata hoitoapupalvelun käytön merkitystä lapsiperheiden arjessa. Opinnäytetyö toteutettiin yhteistyössä Vantaan hoitoapupalvelupisteiden työntekijöiden ja päiväkotien johtajien kanssa. Tavoitteena oli saada perheiden mielipiteet ja näkökulmat esille ja selvittää mahdolliset kehittämiskohteet. Lisäksi tavoitteena oli lisätä lapsiperheiden tietoutta palvelua kohtaan. Tutkimuskysymykset olivat: “Ovatko perheet tyytyväisiä hoitoapupalveluun?”, “Minkälainen merkitys hoitoapupalvelulla on lapsiperheiden arjessa?” ja “Miten hoitoapupalvelua haluttaisiin kehittää?”

Opinnäytetyössä yhdisteltiin laadullisia ja määrällisiä menetelmiä. Tutkimusaineisto kerättiin kyselyllä. Kyselylomake laadittiin yhteistyössä hoitoapupalvelupisteiden työntekijöiden ja päiväkotien johtajien kanssa heidän toiveidensa pohjalta. Saadut tulokset analysoitiin SPSS-ohjelmistolla ja laadullista sisällönanalyysiä hyödyntäen. Teoreettinen viitekehys koostuu varhaiskasvatuksesta, avoimesta varhaiskasvatuksesta, perhe-elämän kehittymisestä ja lapsi- ja perhepolitiikasta.

Kyselyn vastaukset olivat hyvin samankaltaisia ja perheiden tyytyväisyys toimintaa kohtaan tuli selkeästi esille. Toimintaa pidetään tärkeänä palveluna ja sen koetaan lisäävän vanhempien jaksamista ja perheiden hyvinvointia. Vanhemmat kokevat, että hoitoapupalvelulla on sosiaalinen ja kasvatuksellinen vaikutus ja merkitys lapselle. Toimintaa haluttaisiin kehittää pidentämällä hoito-aikaa ja hoitokertojen määrää kuukaudessa ja lisäämällä hoitoapupalvelun varaukset internetiin.

The purpose of this thesis was to clarify satisfaction, wishes and development proposals of the families that use the temporary care service. The purpose was also to describe the importance of the use of temporary care service to families with children in everyday life. This thesis was based on collaboration with the workers and the leaders of the day care in Vantaa. The goal was to get the opinion and point of view of families and to clarify the possible subjects of development. Furthermore, the goal was to increase the knowledge of families with children towards the service. The research questions were the following “Are the families satisfied with the temporary care service?”, “What kind of meaning has the temporary care service to the families with children in everyday life?” and “How would the temporary care service liked to be developed?”

In the analysis of data both quantitative and qualitative methods were employed and our research material was gathered via questionnaires. The data was collected by a questionnaire that was created with the workers of the temporary care service and leaders of day car based on their wishes. The material was analyzed by using SPSS-program and content analysis. The theoretical frame of reference consists of the early childhood education, open early childhood education, development of the family life and child policy and family policy.

Answers in the survey were very similar and families’ happiness for activity was obviously shown. The operation is considered an important service and it was felt to increase the well being of parents and family welfare. The parents experience was that the temporary care service has a social and educational effect and is of significance for the child. The service would liked to be developed by extending care time and the number of the treatments per month and by adding the reservations relating to the temporary care service to the internet.
