Budjetointi ja rahoitusvaihtoehtojen vertailu palveluyritykselle

Abstract

Tämä opinnäytetyö käsittelee budjetointia sekä kasvuyritysten rahoitusvaihtoehtoja toimeksiantajan toiveiden asettamin rajauksin. Työn toimeksiantaja on pieni osakeyhtiö, jonka pyynnöstä yrityksen nimeä ei mainita eikä numeerista budjetointisuunnitelmaa esitetä tässä työssä. Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena on luoda toimeksiantajalle budjetointisuunnitelma sekä koota työssä käsitellyistä rahoitusvaihtoehdoista taulukko joka kuvastaa eri vaihtoehtojen ominaisuuksia toimeksiantajan pyytämillä kriteereillä.

Tietoperusta voidaan jakaa kahteen osaan, joista toinen käsittelee yrityksen talouden suunnittelua sekä budjetointia. Toinen osa käsittelee rahoitusta erityisesti nuorten kasvuyritysten näkökulmasta. Opinnäytetyö on tyypiltään toiminnallinen ja se on tuotettu laadullisin menetelmin. Työssä ei tuoteta uutta tietoa vaan kootaan jo olemassa olevaa helpommin hyödynnettävään muotoon. Teoriapohja on kasattu kirja- ja internetlähteitä käyttäen joiden lisäksi tietoa kohdeyrityksen taloudellisesta tilanteesta ja tulevaisuuden suunnitelmista on saatu toimeksiantajalta haastattelutilaisuuksissa.

Työssä onnistuttiin tuottamaan yritykselle budjetointisuunnitelma budjettikaudelle sekä rahoitusvaihtoehdoista laadittiin taulukko, jossa esitellään tiivistetysti niiden ominaisuuksia muutamilla kriteereillä. Syntyneen budjetointisuunnitelman avulla yrittäjä voi arvioida liiketoiminnan kannattavuutta budjetoiduilla arvoilla ja niistä syntyvän kassavirran riittävyyttä budjettikauden aikana. Rahoitusvaihtoehtotaulukon avulla yrittäjä voi vertailla sopivia rahoituslähteitä ja -muotoja sekä niiden soveltuvuutta omiin tarpeihinsa.

The purpose of this thesis was to create a budgeting plan and to compare different financial options for a case company. The case company in this thesis is a young limited company whose name or the numerical budgeting plans are not presented here at request of the owners. The goal was to create a budgeting plan for the next fiscal year and to gather information about different financial options into a chart, which reflects the differences of different financial instruments.

The theoretical background consists of two parts. The first section is about budgeting and company’s financial planning in general. This section covers the basic principles of budgeting, budgeting process and methods that can be used to compile different budgets. The second part is about financing options and their differences. At request of the case company, the thesis focuses on financing options that are suitable for young limited companies whose goal is to grow business in order to enter and expand their operations to international trade.

This thesis is project-based and it employs qualitative methods. The theory was collected from a wide range of literature and internet sources. The case company also presented valuable financial information about the company’s past and revealed their future business plans.

The results in from this thesis were useful, functional budgeting system and a chart that summarizes information about the different financial options. Budgeting system provides useful information from the company’s cash flow and profitability. The chart can be used to compare different features that the financing options offer and the suitability of them at different stages of the company’s life cycle.
