Kuinka innostaa kohtamaan? : Vanhuksia ja lapsia yhdistävä Yhdessä kerrottua -tarinankerrontahanke sosiokulttuurisen innostamisen valossa

Abstract

Opinnäytetyö tutkii vanhuksia ja lapsia yhdistävää Yhdessä kerrottua -tarinankerrontahanketta Jean-Claude Gillet'n sosiokulttuurisen innostamisen elementtien ja rakennepuiden avulla. Tarkastelun kohteena on, kuinka hankkeen eri osapuolien näkö-kulmat ja tarpeet voidaan huomioida, ja kuinka teatteri-ilmaisun ohjaaja voi tällaisissa projekteissa tukea eri-ikäisten kohtaamista ja osallisuutta ryhmässä. Työ pohtii myös, mitä annettavaa lapsilla ja ikäihmisillä on toinen toisilleen.

Yhdessä kerrottua -hanke on espoolaisissa palvelutaloissa ja päiväkodeissa toteutettu yhteisötaide projekti, joka on tehty kuuden taiteilijan työryhmällä alkaen toukokuussa 2015 ja päättyen helmikuussa 2016. Keskeistä hankkeessa on ollut ikäryhmien kohtaaminen ja tarinoidenkertominen yhdessä. Lasten ja vanhusten projektin työpajoissa luomista tarinoista on käsikirjoitettu ja harjoiteltu näytelmä, jota on esitetty niin hankkeeseen osallistuneille kuin muullekin yleisölle. Esityskiertueen jälkeen yhteistyöpaikoissa pidettiin vielä palautteenkeruu työpajat.

Tutkimusaineisto tässä työssä koostuu havainnoistani ja työpäiväkirjoistani Yhdessä kerrottua -projektista. Lisäksi keräsin palautetta haastattelemalla ja toiminnallisin menetelmin osallistujilta ja palvelutalojen sekä päiväkotien henkilökunnalta puolessa välissä projektia.

Työ rakentuu seuraavalla tavalla: Johdannon jälkeen esitellään ikäryhmien kohtaamista ja sosio-kulttuurisen innostamisen ajatuksia yleisellä tasolla. Tämän jälkeen kuvataan Yhdessä kerrottua -hankkeen kulkua ja sisältöä. Sitten siirrytään analysoimaan hanketta sosiokulttuurisen innostamisen elementtien ja rakennepuiden avulla. Sen jälkeen pohditaan lyhyesti Yhdessä kerrottua -hankkeen tulevaisuutta ja lopuksi tehdään yhteenvetoa analyysistä suhteessa tutkimuskysymyksiin.

The thesis focuses on Yhdessä kerrottua –storytelling project. The work examines how the varied needs and points of view of the project’s participants can be accounted for. This is cared out by applying Jean-Claude Gillet’s work on elements of socio-cultural animation and treelike structures. In addition, the work reflects upon how a drama instructor can support the mutual engagement between people of different ages in group situations and what beneficial exchanges take place between children and elderly people in such engagements.

Yhdessä kerrottua is a communal art project carried out by a group of six artists in care homes and nurseries around Espoo between May 2015 and February 2016. The key idea of the project has been to bring people of different ages together to tell stories. The stories dreamt up in workshops by children and elderly people were produced by the artists into a play and then performed to the participants and in public. After the performances artists returned to the locations to collect feedback of the project in workshops . The thesis is primarily based on my observations, notes, and a work diary kept through the project. Halfway throughout the project I also collected feedback from the participants through interviews, but also drawings and other methods.

The thesis begins by discussing the engagements between children and the elderly people and examining the basic notions of socio-cultural animation. This is followed by a detailed description of Yhdessä kerrottua –project as it happened. I then move on to analyse the project through Jean-Claude Gillet’s work. After briefly reflecting upon the future of the project, I end by summarizing the findings of the study.
