Nuorten intoksikaatioiden hoitotyö : Osastotunti Mikkelin keskussairaalan päivystyspoliklinikalle

Abstract

Tämän toiminnallisen opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli pitää Mikkelin keskussairaalan päivystyspoliklinikan hoitohenkilökunnalle osastotunti liittyen nuorten tahallisten intoksikaatioiden hoitoon. Tarkoituksena oli tuoda myrkytys- ja päihtymystilojen hoitoa esille nuorten hoitotyön ja tahallisuuden näkökulmista. Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli, että osastotunti ja teoriatiedosta koottu materiaali tukevat hoitajien työskentelyä.

Osastotunnilla kerroimme, mitä hoitajien tulisi tehdä, tarkkailla ja huomioida nuorten intoksikaatioiden hoidossa. Päivystyspoliklinikalla on palvelukartta tietokoneella, josta hoitajat voivat katsoa potilaiden kliiniseen hoitoon ja jatkohoidon järjestämiseen liittyviä asioita. Opinnäytetyön teoriataustasta koottiin tietopaketti, joka on hoitajien nähtävissä palvelukartassa. Tätä kautta myös muut päivystyksen työntekijät voivat tutustua aiheeseen, jotka eivät päässeet osastotunnille.

Osastotunnin pitämisessä ja tietopaketissa käytettävä materiaali koostui kirjallisuudesta sekä ajankohtaisista Internet-lähteistä ja tutkimuksista. Osastotunnin jälkeen keräsimme kirjallisen palautteen liittyen osastotuntiin ja sen sisältöön.

Tästä opinnäytetyöstä voi olla hyötyä hoitotyön opiskelijoille, hoitajille sekä muille aihealueesta kiinnostuneille. Osastotunnin materiaalista voivat hyötyä päivystyspoliklinikan hoitohenkilökunta ja opiskelijat.

The purpose of this functional thesis was to keep a department hour to the nursing staff of the emergency of the central hospital of Mikkeli about the care of youngs deliperate intoxications and their treatment. The purpose was to bring information of nursing patient who has poisoning or intoxication. Also one of the perspective was looking it intentional. Our thesis purpose was that department hour and the theory assembled material support the work of nurses.

In the department hour we told what the nurses should do, should monitor and should pay attention of the intoxicated patient. At the emergency is a servicemap in the computer station, where the nurses can look information about the clinical care and aftercare places of patiens. The theory of our thesis was collected an information package which nurses can see it in the service map. This way the nurses can see our information package if they could come to the department hour.

The material which was used in the department hour were consisted of literature, current Internet sources and researches. After the department hour we collected literary feedback concerning of the department hour and its content.

This thesis can be useful to nursing students, nurses and others who are interested of the subject matter. The material of the department hour can be useful to the emergency nursingstaff and students.
