Tyypin 1 diabetekseen sairastuneen lapsen ja tämän perheen mobiiliohjaus

Abstract

Opinnäytetyön tarkoitus oli tehdä tuottaa kohdennettua informaatiota AVO-kotiuttamispalveluun, jonka avulla hoidonohjaus voidaan toteuttaa niin, että informaatio oireiden hoidosta kulkee hoitohenkilökunnalta lapselle ja tämän vanhemmille sekä päinvastoin tehokkaasti. Tavoite oli kehittää tyypin 1 diabetekseen sairastuneen lapsen ja tämän perheen hoidonohjausta mobiiliohjausta hyödyntäen. Työelämäosapuolena toimi Oy Ciegus Ltd, joka omistaa AVO-kotiuttamispalveluapplikaation. Tukena työssä oli myös Porin kaupungin terveydenhoitaja Maria Toivonen.

Opinnäytetyö toteutettiin kehittämistyön menetelmällä. Lisäksi hain tietoa diabeteksesta sairautena, diabeteksen alkuhoidosta, lapsen ja perheen diabeteksen hoidonohjauksesta, terveysteknologiasta sekä otin selvää, millaisia mobiiliohjauksen menetelmiä oli aikaisemmin diabeetikon hoidonohjauksessa käytetty.

Opinnäytetyön tuloksena tuotettiin kysymyksiä, muistutuksia sekä muuta kohdennettua informaatiota 7–10-vuotiaille lapsille, 11 – 15-vuotiaille lapsille sekä diabetesta sairastavan lapsen vanhemmille. Tämä sisältö toimii pohjana AVO-kotiuttamispalvelua käytettäessä tyypin 1 diabetekseen sairastuneen lapsen ja tämän vanhempien alkuhoidon ohjauksessa sairaalasta kotiutumisen jälkeen.

AVO-kotiuttamispalvelun hoidonohjauksen sisältöä kyetään muokkaamaan hoitohenkilökunnan haluamalla tavalla. Hoitohenkilökunta on lapsen ja perheen tilanteen asiantuntijoita, joten he voivat määrittää tarkemman sisällön kulloisenkin tilanteen mukaan. Työssä tuotettu sisältö toimii pohjana diabetekseen sairastuneen lapsen hoidonohjauksessa.

The purpose of this thesis was to produce targeted information to AVO-service that enables an efficient flow of information about symptoms and their treatment from the nursing staff to the child and his/her parents and vice versa. The aim was to develop care guidance us-ing mobile guidance for a child with type 1 diabetes and his/her family. The study was made possible by Oy Ciegus Ltd that owns AVO-service application. In addition, public health nurse Maria Toivonen from Pori participated in the study.

The thesis was carried out using a developmental method. In addition, I researched diabe-tes as disease, the early treatment of diabetes, the care guidance given to the child with diabetes and his/her family, and health technology. Furthermore, I studied what kind of methods of mobile guidance had been used before in the care guidance of a diabetic.

As a result of this thesis I created questions, reminders and other targeted information to 7–10-year-old children, to 11–15-year-old children and to the parents of a child with diabetes. This content will function as a basis when using AVO-service to give early treatment guid-ance to a child with type 1 diabetes and his/her family after returning home.

The information about care guidance on AVO-service can be modified in a way the nursing staff likes. The nursing staff are experts in knowing the situation of the child and the family, so they can determine the specific content according to each situation. The content pro-duced in this thesis function as a basis in the care guidance of a child with type 1 diabetes.
