Tekniikkaseinä rakennustuotteena : Tekniikkaseinän erityispiirteet ja vertailu Elpo-hormitoteutukseen

Abstract

Tämän opinnäytetyön aiheena oli tekniikkaseinä rakennustuotteena. Työ toteutettiin YIT Rakennus OY:n toimesta. Työn tavoitteena oli kerätä tietoa tekniikkaseinän erityispiirteistä ja tehdä tekniikkaseinästä tuotekortti suunnittelunohjauksen ja tuotannonohjauksen käyttöön. Työssä tutkittiin tekniikkaseinän erityispiirteitä työmaatoiminnan, suunnittelun ja kustannusten näkökulmasta sekä vertailtiin tekniikkaseinää Elpo-hormitoteutuksen kanssa. Työssä kerättiin myös kokemuksia tekniikkaseinän käytöstä pilottikohteen perusteella.

Parma Oy:n kehittämä tekniikkaseinä on todella uusi tuote markkinoilla, eikä tuotteesta ole paljon julkaistua materiaalia. Tämän vuoksi opinnäytetyön aineisto kerättiin pääasiassa haastattelumenetelmällä. Haastattelututkimuksen lisäksi tietoa kerättiin YIT:n ensimmäisen tekniikkaseinäkohteen kokemusten perusteella.

Haastatteluista kerätyn tiedon ja pilottikohteen kokemusten perusteella todettiin, että tekniikkaseinä on hyvä tuote ja voi tulevaisuudessa olla kilpailukykyinen vaihtoehto Elpo-hormitoteutukselle, jos asennusnopeutta saadaan parannettua ja hintaa laskettua. Elpo-hormin todettiin olevan parempi ratkaisu työmaatoiminnan näkökulmasta. Tekniikkaseinän hyviksi puoliksi todettiin mm. tekniikkaseinän kantavuusominaisuudet, vähemmän asennettavia elementtejä ja tilasäästö verrattuna Elpo-hormitoteutukseen. Heikkouksina tekniikkaseinällä todettiin olevan tuotteen asentamiseen kuluva aika työmaalla ja tuotteen suorat kustannukset.

Tekniikkaseinä on uusi tuote, jota kehitetään jatkuvasti eteenpäin. Tulevaisuudessa yritys voi hyödyntää opinnäytetyössä kerättyä tietoa ja työn tuloksia tekniikkaseinää valittaessa rakennuksen pystyhormirakenteeksi.

The subject of this thesis was technology wall structure as a construction product. This thesis was commissioned by YIT Rakennus ltd. The goal for this study was to collect information about the special characteristics of a technology wall structure and create an information package designed for the use of construction planning and production. The special characteristics of the technology wall structure were researched from the point of view of construction site operation, planning and cost. The technology wall structure was also com-pared with the Elpo-flue structure. Experience on the use of the technology wall structure based on a pilot project were also recorded in this study.

Technology wall structure, which has been developed by Parma ltd, is a brand new product on the market. There is little published information about the product which is why most of the material for this thesis was collected by interviewing professionals working with the product. In addition to the interviews, information was gathered from the experiences YIT had with technology wall structure in their pilot project.

Based on the information gathered from interviewing and the experiences in the pilot project, technology wall structure was found to be a good product and can be a competitive choice for a vertical flue structure in the future if the installation process can be improved and the cost brought down. Elpo-flue structure was found to be a better product from construction site’s point of view. Positive features of the technology wall structure were found to be its suitability for a load-bearing wall, the fact that there are fewer elements to install and the fact that it saves space compared to the Elpo-flue structure. Negative sides were found to be its time consuming installation process and financial costs.

Technology wall structure is a brand new product that is constantly being developed further. In the future the company can make use of the information and results of this thesis when considering the technology wall structure as a vertical flue structure in an apartment building.
