Tuotekonfiguraattorin dokumenttien automatisointi

Abstract

Tämän opinnäytetyön kohteena oli rakentaa tuotekonfiguraattorin yhteyteen ohjelman osa, joka tuottaa laitteen konfiguroinnin yhteydessä saatavien tietojen sekä taulukoiden ja laskentakaavojen perusteella tarvittavat Word-dokumentit tuotekokonaisuudesta. Tuotekonfiguraattori toteutettiin Cincomin Socrateksella. Socrateksella toteutettiin myös säännöt, taulukot, määrittelyt ym. jotka tarvittiin tietojen saamiseksi ja tallentamiseksi Word-dokumentille. Dokumenteista ensisijaiseksi otettiin tekninen erittely. Teknisestä erittelystä ilmenee laitteiston tekniset tiedot ja suoritusarvot. Tämä dokumentti antaa kokonaiskuvan laitteistosta, sen käyttötarkoituksesta ja mahdollisuuksista. Sen perusteella pystytään myös tarjoamaan asiakkaan käyttötarpeeseen sopivaa tuotekokonaisuutta. Asiakas näkee helposti teknisestä erittelystä, mitä hänelle tarjotaan, mitä kokonaisuus pitää sisällään ja mihin se kykenee. Konfiguroinnin eri vaiheista tulisi olla mahdollisuus saada osittaisia teknisiä erittelyjä myös siinä vaiheessa, jolloin koko laitteistoa ei vielä ole konfiguroitu täydellisesti loppuun saakka. Tällaista osittaista teknistä erittelyä tarvitaan siksi, että tuotekokonaisuuden ollessa vielä avoimena olisi mahdollista vertailla erilaisia tuotekokoonpanoja ja niiden osioita mahdollisimman tarkalla tasolla, jotta voitaisiin löytää tarkoitukseen parhaiten sopiva tuotekokonaisuus mahdollisimman joustavasti ja asiakasystävällisesti. Kun konfigurointi saadaan päätökseen, kerätään aiemmissa vaiheissa tehdyt osittaiset erittelyt yhteen ja muodostetaan lopullinen tekninen erittely koko laitteistosta. Myöhemmässä vaiheessa on tarkoitus tuottaa samalla perusrutiinilla myös muita dokumentteja konfiguroinnin yhteydessä. Näistä dokumenteista voidaan mainita esim. pitkä erittely ja säätöohje ohjauslaitteille.

The subject of this Bachelor thesis was to build a program part within the product configurator, that can produce specified word-documents based on the information fed to configurator during product configuration process. Cincom Socrates software was used for product configurator programming. The rules, tables, definitions etc., needed to gather information and store it to word-document, were created with Cincom Socrates. Technical specification was given the first priority. Technical specification includes technical information and performance values. This is the document, giving an overall description of the product, it’s use and possibilities. Based on this document, it’s possible to offer a suitable product to meet the customer requirements. From the technical specification, it’s easy for the customer to see the content of offer. In different phases of configuration, it should be possible to create partial technical specifications, although the whole product is not yet completely configured. These partial technical specifications are needed, when the final product is still open and it would be useful to compare different types of product structures, to be able to find the best possible solution for the customer. When the whole configuration is finished, the partial technical specifications are gathered together, to create the final technical specification for the whole product. The same basic routine will be used to create other types of documents in the future. From these documents can be mentioned for example long technical specification and tuning manual for control system.
