Tämä opinnäytetyö on kuvaus uuden verkkopalvelun toteutusprojektista ja verkkopalvelun arvioinnista. Opinnäytetyön toimeksiantaja oli HYKS Lastenpsykiatria ja HYKS Psykiatria. Toteutusprojektin teoreettinen viitekehys muodostuu lasten mielenterveyteen, eTerveyteen ja verkkopalvelun kehittämiseen liittyvistä asioista.

Projektin toteutuksessa käytettiin ketteriä menetelmiä, koska projektissa haluttiin välttyä turhalta byrokratialta ja toimintaa hidastavilta rakenteilta. Itse toteutusprojekti koostui suunnittelu- ja määrittelyvaiheesta, toteutuksesta, testauksesta, julkaisusta, sekä valmiin verkkopalvelun arvioinnista.

Tässä projektissa toteutettiin uusi verkkopalvelu Lastenmielenterveystalo.fi, joka on osa Helsingin ja Uudenmaan sairaanhoitopiirin ylläpitämää Mielenterveystalo.fi- verkkopalvelukokonaisuutta. Projekti käynnistyi alkuvuodesta 2015 ja verkkopalvelu julkaistiin helmikuussa 2016. Lastenmielenterveystalo.fi antaa tietoa ja palveluohjausta lasten (0 – 12 vuotta) mielenterveysasioihin liittyen. Verkkopalvelua voivat käyttää lapset, vanhemmat ja lasten parissa toimivat ammattihenkilöt. Verkkopalveluun ei tarvitse kirjautua ja sen käyttö on maksutonta.

Lastenmielenterveystalo.fi-verkkopalvelua arvioitiin kesäkuussa 2016 sähköisen palautekyselyn avulla. Kyselyyn tuli 38 vastausta. Vastaajat olivat pääosin naisia ja taustaltaan terveysalan ammattihenkilöitä. Vastausten perusteella valtaosa koki, että verkkopalvelusta oli apua tai sieltä löysi hyödyllistä tietoa. Lähes kaikki vastaajat kokivat että verkkopalvelua oli teknisesti melko helppoa tai erittäin helppoa käyttää. Verkkopalvelun ulkoasu oli lähes kaikkien vastaajien mukaan hyvä tai erittäin hyvä. Avointen vastausten perusteella verkkopalvelu koettiin myös pääosin hyväksi ja tarpeelliseksi.

Tämän projektin aikana saatiin toteutettua suunnitellusti uusi ja hyödylliseksi koettu kansallinen verkkopalvelu lasten mielenterveysasioihin liittyen. Verkkopalvelu laajenee myös palveluohjauksensa osalta koko Suomen kattavaksi vuoden 2016 loppuun mennessä. Tulevina haasteina on verkkopalvelun liittyminen osaksi Helsingin ja Uudenmaan sairaanhoitopiirin ylläpitämää Terveyskylä.fi-verkkopalvelua, sekä ruotsin kielisen version toteuttaminen.

Creation of a Web Service - Lastenmielenterveystalo.fi

This thesis is a description of creating a new web service and evaluation of the project. The thesis was assigned by the Helsinki University Central Hospital Child Psychiatry Department and the Helsinki University Central Hospital Psychiatry Department. The project’s theoretical framework consists of child psychiatry, e-health and developing the web service.

Agile methods have been used in the implementation of the project because the project was to avoid unnecessary bureaucracy and action-retardant structures.

In this project, a new web service named Lastenmielenterveystalo.fi, which is part of the Helsinki and Uusimaa Hospital District maintained by the Mielenterveystalo.fi- whole network was carried out. The project was officially launched in early 2015, and the online service was launched in February 2016.

The Lastenmielenterveystalo.fi web service was evaluated in June 2016 through an online survey. There were 38 responses to the survey. Respondents were mainly women and their background was mainly health professionals in the field. Based on the responses, the majority felt that the site was helpful and useful information can be found there. The majority of respondents also felt that the services had been technically fairly easy or very easy to use. According to almost all of the respondents, network service design was good or very good. On the basis of the free responses, the service was also considered essentially good and necessary.

During this project, a new and useful national online service for children's mental health issues was completed as planned. The web service will cover the entire Finland with regard to case management by the end of 2016. The coming challenges are joining the Terveyskylä.fi web service, as well as the implementation of the Swedish language version.
