Test Engineering –laboratorion suunnittelu ja toteutus

Abstract

Insinöörityön tarkoituksena oli suunnitella ja toteuttaa Nokia Networks/Product Operations/ Test Engineering –jaoksen testaus- ja rakennuslaboratorio. Työ on suunnattu nimenomaan Test Engineering –jaoksen työtehtäviä ajatellen. TE-jaokselle rakennettiin uudet laboratoriotilat, jonne piti suunnitella jaoksen työtehtävissä tarvittavat elementit. Työssä juoduttiin ottamaan huomioon testauksessa, testauskehityksessä ja testerikehityksessä tarvittavat sähköt, ATKverkko, staattisensähkön suojaus, työpisteiden toimivuus, työpöytien perustyövälineet ja –mittalaitteet sekä varaosien tms. saatavuus. Testattavia ja kehitettäviä kohteita on kirjava joukko, joten yhtä oikeaa ja parasta ratkaisua ei löydy. Lopputuloksena laboratorioon saatiiin erilaisilla kokoonpanoilla varustettuja testaustai työpisteitä. Osa testauspisteistä ei tarvitse omaa pöytää eikä omia työvälineitä satunnaisen tarpeen takia.

The purpose of the final year work was to design and implement the testing- and development laboratory for the Test Engineering- section of Product Operations, Nokia Networks. The work is directed especially for the tasks and requirements of the Test Engineering- section. New laboratory room was built for the use of TE- section where the elements required for the tasks of the section had to be designed. The work was done considering testing- , testing development- and tester development requirements for electricity, computer network, protection against static electricity, functionality of the work positions, basic tools and measuring equipment of the work desks and the availability of i.e. spare parts. Because there is many different kinds of testing- and development targets, the one and the only- solution does not exist. As a result the laboratory was equipped with work desks. Part of the testing positions do not need their own desks and tools because of the random need.
