Verkostojohtaminen lääkäriyhteistyössä : Nykytila-analyysin avulla ymmärrystä lääkäriyhteistyön kehittämiseen Silmäasemalla

Abstract

Lääkäriyhteistyö on ollut Silmäaseman toiminnan kulmakivenä yrityksen syntyhetkistä lähtien. Erityispiirteenä tulee muistaa, että lääkärit ovat sopimussuhteessa Silmäasemaan. Yksityisen terveydenhuollon toimiala on suuressa murrosvaiheessa ja Silmäaseman tulee varmistaa, että se on halutuin työpaikka silmäterveyden ammattilaisille tulevaisuudessa. Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena on selvittää lääkäriyhteistyön nykytila, jotta Silmäasema saa eväitä lääkäriyhteistyön kehittämiseen tutkittuun tietoon perustuen.

Opinnäytetyön kirjallinen osuus rakentuu verkostojohtamisen teorioista ja onnistuneen verkostojohtamisen kulmakivistä, sekä terveydenhuollon johtamisen erityispiirteistä. Kirjoittaja on itse työskennellyt lääkäriyhteistyön parissa lähes 10 vuotta. Kirjoittajan omakohtainen kokemus, sekä mielenkiinto toimivaa lääkäriyhteistyötä kohtaan ovat olleet avainasemassa tämän työn rakentamisessa. Tutkimusosa rakentuu Silmäaseman avainhenkilöiden teemahaastatteluista. Haastatteluista poimittiin myös väitteitä tutkimuksen seuraavaan vaiheeseen. Silmäaseman lääkäreille lähetettiin sähköisesti puolistrukturoitu kyselylomake. Näin saatiin kattava aineisto yhteistyön nykytila-analyysiä varten.

Silmäasemalla on hyvä joukko lääkäreitä, jotka haluavat kehittää yhteistyötä Silmäaseman kanssa. Kuitenkin muut verkostot voivat tulla houkuttelevammaksi lääkäreille, mikäli Silmäasema ei puutu havaittuihin ongelmakohtiin. Toimiakseen verkosto vaatii molemmin puolista yhteistyötä sekä yhteisiä tavoitteita. Silmäaseman tulee kehittää sen verkostojohtamista uudelle tasolle verkostojohtamisen keinoin.

Co-operation with doctors have always been important foundation for Silmäasema. Silmäasema’s doctors are not employees, they are entrepreneurs and work with co-operation contracts. Silmäasema hasn’t been able to develop the co-operation systematically. Private healthcare branch is changing fast. Silmäasema has to ensure its competitiveness to be one of the best working places for doctors. This thesis explains the current state of Silmäasemas co-operation with its doctors and what are both sides vision and main goals. This thesis helps the organization develop its co-operation with knowledge, not only by presumptions.

Thesis theory includes network management studies, and what we need to success in network management. Also thesis includes healthcare organ-ization management and how to lead healthcare professionals. The writer has itself worked in co-operation with doctors almost 10 years. Writers ex-perience and intresses towards co-operation with doctors are the main reason for this thesis subject. Study part includes theme interview to Silmäsema’s keyworkers and questionary for Silmäasema’s doctors. With research material the writer was able to do the preset state analysis.

The doctors in Silmäasema are mainly committed to co-operation and most of them want to develop the co-operation with Silmäasema. If Silmäasema doesn’t work hard to improve the co-operation the doctors will leave and change the organization where they want to work. In the future it would be interesting to study wheter are these co-operation problems been able to solved or not. If Silmaasema wants its co-operation to work properly the network needs goals and vision together. Silmaasema has to improve its network management.
