Hevoslomitusten kehittäminen

Abstract

Opinnäytetyön tarkoitus oli perehtyä hevoslomitukseen, siihen ovatko alan yrittäjät tyytyväisiä kunnalta saamaan lomitusapuun ja ovatko lomittajat ammattitaitoisia. Hevoslomitus on tiloilla tapahtuvaa lomitusta. Lomituspalveluiden työntekijä, eli kunnan lomittaja pyrkii parhaalla mahdollisella tavalla hoitamaan yrityksen työtehtävät yrittäjän ollessa lomalla. Lomittajan työtehtäviin kuuluu yleensä hevosten ruokinta, terveydentilan tarkkailu sekä hevosen yleinen hoito, karsinoiden siivoaminen, tallin puhtaanapito ja muut päivittäin tapahtuvat työt. Suomessa on tällä hetkellä noin 75 000 hevosta, ja yritystoimintaa harjoitettavia talleja on noin 3000. Määrä on kasvussa ja hevosalan yrittäjiä tarvitaan jatkossakin. Hevoslomitusten piiriin tulee ympäri maata lisää talleja, koska vuonna 2011 loma-oikeutettujen tallien hevoslukumäärää laskettiin 12 hevosesta 8 hevoseen. Yrittäjällä on siis tällöin oltava vähintään 8 hevosta yrityksessään sekä vaaditun pelto pinta-alan tulee täyttyä. Näiden ehtojen täyttyessä yrittäjä voi hankkia MYEL-vakuutuksen, jolloin tämä oikeuttaa hänet vuosilomaan ja sijaisapulomitukseen. Tällöin yrittäjä saa käyttöönsä vuodessa yhteensä 26 vuosilomapäivää, jotka ovat yrittäjälle maksuttomia. Sijaisapulomitusta voidaan käyttää, kun yrittäjä itse on kyvytön huolehtimaan tilan töistä, jolloin lomittaja voidaan ottaa hoitamaan tilan töitä.

The purpose of this thesis was to take a look at substitution in horse ranches, to find out if the entrepreneurs are satisfied with the substitution that is available from the municipality and if the substitute personal are competent. The horse ranch substitution happens on the farm. The employee of the stand- in service, the substitute from the municipality aims at the best possible way to get the work at the farm done when the entrepreneus is on holiday. The work assignment of the substitue usually includes feeding the horses, observance of the health and the usual care of horses as well as cleaning up the stable, sanitation of the stall and all the other daily duties. There are approximately 75,000 horses in Finland nowadays and circa 3000 stables that are training business. The amount is increasing and entrepreneus will be needed in the future too. There will be more stables in the domain of the horse substitute, because the amounts of the horses in a stable which quality for vacation substution were decreased from 12 to 8. That means that the entrepreneur must have at least 8 horses in his company as well as the required field area. When these terms are fulfilled, then the entrepreneus acquires an MYEL- insurance (MYEL= the Farmers’ Pensions Act). The insuranve allows the entrepreneur to have annual leave with substitute assistance. The farmer is entitled to an an-nual leave of 26 days, which are free of charge for the entrepreneur. The substitute assistance can be used when the entrepreneur is incapable to take care of the work on the farm and in that case the stand-in completes the work.
