Höylälinjojen tuotannon ja kunnossapidon kehittäminen

Abstract

Tämän opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli selvittää jalostustoiminnan ja kunnossapidon nykytilaa sekä etsiä kehityskohteita tuotannon ja kunnossapidon yhteistyön parantamiseksi. Tarkoituksena oli myös selvittää lähtötilanne tuotantolinjojen käytettävyyden ja kustannustehokkuuden parantamiseksi sekä kunnossapidon painopisteen siirtämiseksi ennakoivaan kunnossapitoon nykyisen korjaavan kunnossapidon sijaan. Toimeksiantajana oli Pölkky Oy ja työ suoritettiin Kuusamon toimipisteessä jalostuksen höylälinjoilla.

Työn teoriaosissa käsitellään tuotannon, kunnossapidon ja organisaation tehokkuuteen vaikuttavia tekijöitä ja niiden parantamista. Soveltavaan osaan kerättiin tietoa kirjallisuudesta, standardeista ja työntekijöiden haastatteluista. Lisäksi tietoa kertyi työskentelemällä insinööriharjoittelussa ja linjatyöntekijänä.

Työn aikana tuli ilmi sekä tuotannon että kunnossapidon puolelta omia kehityskohtia. Isoimpia puutteita löytyi kommunikaatiosta ja tietojen kirjaamisista ylös. Ilmi tulleisiin kehityskohtiin etsittiin kehitysehdotuksia nykytilan parantamiseksi. Selvityksen ja ehdotuksien pohjalta yritys voi luoda vahvempaa pohjaa kehittämistyölle ja yhteistyön parantamiselle.

The purpose of this bachelor’s thesis was to sort out the current state of sawmill processing lines production and maintenance, as well to look for development sites to improve co-operation between the production and the maintenance. The purpose of the research was also to determine a starting point to shifting the focus of maintenance from the reactive maintenance to the proactive maintenance instead, and to improve the use and cost-effectiveness in processing lines. The work was commissioned by Pölkky Oy and it was performed in Kuusamo position at planing lines.

The theory part covers the factors that affect the efficiency of production, maintenance and organization and how to improve them. The information to the applied part was collected by related literature, standards, interviewing the employees and by working as a production worker and in engineer practicing period as a specialist.

The results of the project show the development points in the production and maintenance. Some of the largest deficiency was found in the procedure of communication and not recording any data. Development suggestions were searched to the things that came up in the project. From the basis of the report and suggestions, the company can create a stronger base to the development work and improving co-operation.
