Trestima energiapuun mittauksessa : Trestima-sovelluksen käyttö energiapuun mittauksessa. Käyttö ja soveltuvuus.

Abstract

Tässä opinnäytetyössä tutkittiin energiapuun mittaamista Trestima- stack sovelluksella. Trestima on ohjelma, joka on kehitetty monipuoliseen metsänmittauk-seen. Trestima-stack on kehitetty erikseen pinomittausta varten. Toimintaperiaate on, että sovelluksen avulla otetaan älypuhelimella kuva puupinosta. Syötetään tarvittavat tiedot kyseisestä kohteesta ja lähetetään aineisto pilvipalveluun. Pilvi-palvelussa lasketaan tulokset ja ne lähetetään takaisin. Tämän jälkeen niitä voi tarkastella Trestiman verkkosivuilla. Opinnäytetyössä testattiin Trestiman soveltuvuutta juuri energiapuun mittaukseen, sen haastavuuden vuoksi. Aineistoksi työhön kuvattiin 17 eri energiapuupinoa, jotka olivat varastoituna erilaisiin oloihin ja paikkoihin. Kaikki pinot olivat karsittua rankaa. Mukaan mahtui niin hyviä asiallisesti ladottuja kuin sekalaisia epämääräistäkin tavaraa sisältäviä pinoja. Vertailun vuoksi mittaukset tehtiin myös manuaalisesti. Alkuperäinen mittaustuloshan oli monitoimikoneelta. Saatuja mittoja verrattiin aina motomittaan. Saatujen mittaustulosten eroja vertailtiin excelissä tehdyillä laskelmilla ja saatiin näin konkreettista tietoa tuloksista. Tulosten perusteella pinon koolla, pinon korkeudella tai keskiläpimitalla ei ole vaikutusta mittaustuloksiin. Tutkimuksen mukaan Trestima-stack on käyttökelpoinen työkalu ainakin karsitun rangan mittaukseen normaaleissa oloissa. Pienin parannuksin pitäisi toimia myös erikoisemmissa kohteissa.

This thesis explored the Trestima Stack application for the measuring of energy wood stacks. Trestima is an application which has been developed for measuring forests and Trestima stack is intended for measuring wood stacks. Trestima Stack is an application which is installed on your smartphone. The principle is to take a picture of the stack with your smartphone. Then you set the relevant information of the stack into the program. Finally you send the gathered information to a cloud service. In the cloud service they check the results and send them back after a while. After the results are sent back, you can review them on the Trestimas website. This thesis was made specifically to test if Trestima is a proper tool for measuring energy wood. The material in the thesis was 17 different energy wood stacks. The stacks were stored in different places and conditions. All the stacks were pruned wood. The gathered results were compared with the original results gathered during log-ging. According the study, Trestimas results were very similar to the results ob-tained from the harvester. Problems with the stack do not affect the results too much. Features beneath the stack can be problem, such as rocks under the stack or the lumber being in a ditch, this may affect the results a bit. According to the study Trestima is a useful tool for measuring energy wood. Espe-cially for pruned wood stacks in normal conditions. After a few improvements it should work also in more challenging conditions.
