Varaosavaraston layoutin suunnittelu

Abstract

Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli suunnitella varaston layout Kulamaan Auton varastoinnin parantamista varten. Tehtävä aloitettiin tutustumalla varastotilaan ja sen mahdollisuuksiin. Suunnitelman alussa mietittiin myös tarkkaan, minkälaiset hyllyt varastoon tulisivat, miten ne sijoitettaisiin. Tavoitteena oli varaston hyötykäytön te-hostaminen sekä joustavuus.

Suunnitelma aloitettiin tutustumalla layout- suunnittelun teoriaan, kerättiin tietoa va-rastoinnista sekä siihen liittyvistä osa- alueista esimerkiksi erilaisista hyllyratkaisuista, varaston työturvallisuudesta jne.

Varastotilat oli hankittu muutama vuosi takaperin. Auton varaosia oli jo varastoituna halliin. Suunnitelmassa oli huomioitava mm. varaosien erilaiset muodot, koot sekä painot. Huomioitavaa oli myös varaosien sijoittelu hyllyihin juuri näiden em. kritee-rien vuoksi.

Suunnitelman jälkeen aloitettiin välittömästi hyllyjen hankkiminen sekä kokoaminen. Tarkoituksena ei ollut kustannussyistä hankkia hyllyjä kerrallaan kaikkia. Hyllyjen kokoaminen toteutettiin liikkeen oman henkilökunnan toimesta. Itse toimin ainoas-taan neuvonantajana.

Hyllyjen valmistuttua tarkoituksena on toteuttaa hyllymerkinnät sekä nimikkeisiin laitetaan viivakoodit. Näin ollen uudet tavarat laitetaan suoraan niille määrättyyn paikkaan. Tämän tarkoituksena on saada varaston toiminta tuottavaksi ja tehokkaaksi.

The purpose of this thesis is to plan improvement to Kulamaan Auto storage unit. First I went to see the storage and thought about the possibilities I could do with it. In the beginning the task was carefully plan the storages space, what kind of shelves to use and how to situate them. The goal was to use storage flexibly in its full capacity.

At first I got to know theory of layout planning, collected information about storage and its different aspects like different shelf options and storage working and safety etc.

The storeroom was couple years old and there were already spare car parts in it. In the plan I had to think about different shapes, sizes and weights of the spare parts in order to situate them in the shelves.

After the plan it was immediately put into the action by buying the shelves and put-ting them together. Because of the financial situation, not all the shelves were bought immediately. The work itself was done by Kulamaan Autos´s own staff, I was only advising them.

After the work is done, we mean to tag all the shelves and barcode all the items for identification solution. It will help to situate all the new articles or spare parts and make the storeroom easier and more productive.
