Elementtikylpyhuoneiden asennustyöt ja kosteudenhallinta työmaalla

Abstract

Opinnäytetyön tilaaja oli SRV Rakennus Oy. Työ toteutettiin hyvässä yhteistyössä Parmarine Oy:n kanssa, joka on valmistanut tutkimuksessa käytetyt elementtikylpyhuoneet. Joillakin tilaajan työmailla oli ilmennyt kosteudenhallintaan liittyviä haasteita elementtikylpyhuoneissa. Opinnäytetyön tavoite oli estää tai vähentää kosteudesta johtuvien haittojen syntyminen sen jälkeen, kun kylpyhuone on toimitettu tehtaalta.

Tutkimustyö tehtiin pääosin tilaajan työmaalla Espoossa seuraamalla kylpyhuoneiden asennustyötä. Tutkimuksen tärkeässä osassa olivat monet keskustelut työmailla sekä tehtaalla. Tutkimuksessa käytettiin myös kosteudenmittauslaitteita, jotka asennettiin kylpyhuoneisiin tehtaalla.

Työtä tehdessä muodostui lista haasteita, jotka koskivat kosteudenhallintaa, asennustyötä tai asennusten jälkeisiä töitä. Keskusteluissa listan asiat olivat esillä. Keskustelujen perusteella opinnäytetyön tekijä luetteloi haasteista kehitysehdotuksia niin tehtaan kuin työmaan suuntaan ja välitti niitä opinnäytetyötä tehdessään. Suurin osa kehitysehdotuksista on otettu mielenkiinnolla vastaan sekä luvattu siirtää käytäntöön. Opinnäytetyöhön varattu aika ei valitettavasti riittänyt kehitystyön pitkäjänteisempään seurantaan.

Kosteudenmittausten tulosten tulkinta osoittautui odotuksia työteliäämmäksi. Apua antoivat sertifioitu kosteudenmittaaja sekä fyysikko. Mittauksia pitäisi toteuttaa laajemmin ja ympäri vuoden, jotta tuloksia pystyisi paremmin analysoimaan.

Opinnäytetyön aihe oli mielenkiintoinen. Mitä pitemmälle työ eteni, sitä kiinnostavammaksi se muuttui. Opin tästä tutkimustyöstä paljon. Työn innostavin osa oli rakennusfysikaalisten asioiden pohdiskelu.

The thesis was made for SRV Rakennus Oy and in good cooperation with Parmarine Oy, the manufacturer of prefabricated bathrooms considered in the study. On some of their construction sites, SRV Rakennus Oy had experienced difficulties in moisture control of prefabricated bathrooms. The goal of the thesis was to prevent or reduce moisture caused damage after the bathroom is delivered to the construction site.

The research was generally done on a construction site of SRV Rakennus Oy in Suurpelto Espoo by monitoring the installation work of bathrooms. Important part of the research were the many conversations on site and in the factory. The study also used a number of moisture monitors that were installed in the bathrooms at the factory.

During the study a list of challenges emerged concerning moisture control, installation and post installation work, which were brought up in discussion. Based on the discussion the author listed development suggestions addressing the challenges. They were forwarded to the factory and the construction site during the study. Most of the suggestions were well received and considered to be applied in practice. Unfortunately the time reserved for the study could not accommodate further monitoring of development.

Interpretation of the resulting data from the moisture monitors turned out to be more laborious than expected. It was done with the help of a certified moisture measurer and a physicist. More all year round measurements need to be executed so that the results could be better analyzed.

The topic of the thesis was interesting. As the study went deeper in the topic the intriguing it got. I learned a lot from the study. The most inspiring part of the study was the reflexion on physics of buildings.
