Osatyökykyisten yli 50-vuotiaiden työllistymisen mahdollisuudet Kainuussa

Abstract

Opinnäytetyömme tarkoituksena oli tutkia yli 50-vuotiaiden osatyökykyisten työllistymisen mahdollisuuksia Kainuussa sekä työn ja iän merkitystä henkilöiden työllistymisessä. Aihe on ajankohtainen, koska kyseisen ryhmän työllistymisen edellytysten tukeminen on hallituksen kärkihankkeita myös valtakunnan tasolla. Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena on tuoda esille Kainuun alueelta kohderyhmän työllistymisen mahdollisuudet.

Tämän tutkimuksen toimeksiantaja on kainuulainen Juricon Oy, jonka perustaja on itsekin yli 50-vuotias osatyökykyinen. Yrityksen yhtenä tavoitteena on olla mahdollistamassa Kainuun alueen osatyökykyisten opintonsa päättävien opiskelijoiden työllistymistä.

Teoriataustana käsiteltiin työn merkitystä yksilön elämänhallinnassa, sekä fyysisen että psyykkisen hyvinvoinnin kannalta, sillä se koskettaa erityisesti osatyökykyisiä kaikissa ikäryhmissä. Molemmat opinnäytetyön tekijät kuuluvat työntekijästatukseltaan opinnäytetyön aihealueen kohde-ryhmään. Opiskelijoilla on opinnot ammattikorkeakoulussa loppuvaiheessa ja työllistyminen ajankohtainen aihe. Samalla kartoitettiin työnantajien käytettävissä olevia yhteiskunnan tarjoamia tukimuotoja osatyökykyisten työllistämisessä.

Tutkimus suoritettiin teemahaastatteluna pääasiassa henkilökohtaisten tapaamisten kautta valituille työnantajille, rekrytoinnista vastaaville henkilöille ja asiantuntijatahoille.

Johtopäätöksenä opinnäytetyön tuloksista voimme todeta, että työnantajat kaipaavat osatyökykyisten kohdalta tietoa siitä, mikä heidän osaamisensa on, mihin heidän työkykynsä riittää ja mitä he pystyvät ihan konkreettisesti tekemään. Työnantajataho toivoisi myös enemmän tietoa eri tukitoimista.

Opinnäytetyöntekijät perehtyivät meneillään oleviin hankkeisiin sekä osatyökykyisten työllistymisen edellytyksiin Kainuussa. Tapasimme mielenkiintoisia, teemasta kiinnostuneita asiantuntijoita, jotka jakoivat yhteisen huolen ja samalla myös innostuksen osatyökykyisten työllistymisen kehit-tämisestä. Kaikki haastateltavat ottivat meidät todella hyvin vastaan, keskustelu oli tasavertaista, monipolvista, vastavuoroista ja avointa.

The purpose of this thesis was to study the possibilities to be employed among the partially disabled 50-year olds in Kainuu and the importance of work and age in the person’s employment in Kainuu. The subject is timely because the support of the preconditions for the employment of the group in question is also one of the top projects of the government at the national level.

This research was commissioned by Juricon Oy, whose founder is over 50 years old and partially disabled. One of the company’s aims is to enable the employment of the students in the Kainuu region when they are finishing their studies. The aim is to facilitate the employment of the target group by networking and assisting in recruiting.

The objective of the thesis was to discover the possibilities of the target group to find employment from the Kainuu area. At the same time, the support forms that the society offers, and which are at the employers’ disposal, were surveyed in the employment of the partially disabled.

The study also deals with the importance of the work for the individual's life management, both for physical and psychological welfare, as it particularly affects the ability to work in all age groups. Both authors of the thesis belong to the target group of the thesis’ subject in their worker status. Both students are at the final stage of their graduate studies in a university of applied sci-ences and therefore the employment is a current subject.

The research materials include among other dissertations, organizations’ and ministries’ research and report materials, literature, and interviews. As a research method, we used theme interviews and mainly through personal meetings we selected interviewees which included employers, recruiting staff and experts.

Because of this research, up-to-date regional information was collected about the research topic. Likewise, information was gathered from the ongoing projects which are aimed at supporting the preconditions for the employment of the partially disabled in Finland. It was also positive to notice that for example the education of workplace coordinators is running brisk in Kainuu. In the area, there are already people who have completed training and attend to different job seekers.

The subject of the thesis offers many opportunities for the examination of the same subject in the future. In this work, research was outlined to consider only the opportunities for job creation for over 50-years-old partially disabled in one region.
