Kuvien hyödyntäminen alle 3-vuotiaiden päiväkotiarjessa

Abstract

Opinnäytetyöni aiheena on kuvien käyttö päiväkodissa. Opinnäytetyöni tarkoituksena on tuottaa päiväkodin 1-3-vuotiaiden lapsiryhmään arkea helpottavia ja strukturoivia kuvia. Opinnäytetyöni tavoitteena on selvittää, millä tavoin kuvia voidaan hyödyntää päiväkodissa ja mikä merkitys kuvilla päiväkotiarjessa on. Lisäksi tavoitteena on selvittää, kuinka kuvien avulla voidaan tukea ja helpottaa päiväkotiarjen sujumista 1-3-vuotiaiden lapsiryhmässä.

Teoriaosuudessa käsittelen aiheita kuva, lapsi kuvan katsojana, päiväkodin visuaalinen toimintaympäristö, kuvat päiväkodissa sekä kuvien hyödyntäminen päiväkotiarjessa.

Opinnäytetyöni on toiminnallinen opinnäytetyö. Lisäksi olen työssäni hyödyntänyt teemahaastattelun menetelmiä. Opinnäytetyöni toiminnallisessa osuudessa olen tuottanut arkea helpottavia ja strukturoivia kuvia Pikkulinnan päiväkodin 13-vuotiaden lasten ryhmään. Teemahaastattelussa olen haastatellut saman päiväkotiryhmän kasvattajia kuvien käytön kokemuksista

The subject of my thesis is using pictures at a day care center. The intention of my thesis is producing pictures to ease and structure the ordinary days of the groups of 1 -3 years old children in a day care centre. The objective of my thesis is find out how we can use pictures in a day care center and what is the meaning of the pictures everyday activities in a day care centre. In addition the is to make clear how we can support and ease the flow of everyday activities in the group of 1-3 years old children in a day care centre.

In the theoretical part I deal with the subjects picture, a child as the viewer of the picture, the visual operating environment of day care center, pictures at day care center and making use of pictures in ordinary day care activities.

My thesis is practice-based. In addition I have used in my work theme interviewing methods. In the practice-based part of my thesis I have produced pictures to ease and structure the ordinary days of groups of children under three years of age. In the theme interview I have interviewed educators of the same day care center about the experiences of using the pictures.
