LITURGISET VÄRIT TUTUIKSI : Materiaalipaketti taidekasvatuksen menetelmillä Ylivieskan seurakunnalle

Abstract

Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli valmistaa Ylivieskan seurakunnan varhaisnuorisotyölle materiaalipaketti, jossa on erilaisia tehtäviä taidekasvatuksen menetelmiin ja muotoihin perustuen. Materiaalipaketin piti soveltua liturgisten värien opettamiseen ja olla sopiva Ylivieskan seurakunnan varhaisnuorten leirien ja muiden tapahtumien raamattuopetukseen. Materiaalipaketin ensimmäistä versiota, Liturgiset värit -rastirataa testattiin kahdella varhaisnuorten leirillä kesällä 2017. Toteutukseen osallistuivat myös leirien isoset, jotka kulkivat rastiradalla oman leiriläisryhmänsä kanssa. Tämän jälkeen materiaalia kehitettiin lopullisen materiaalipaketin muotoon leirien muilta ohjaajilta, isosilta ja leiriläisiltä saatujen palautteiden perusteella. Opinnäytetyössä oli kaksi kehittämistehtävää: 1. Erilaisten oppijoiden huomioiminen ja heidän tukeminen 2. Lapsen luovuutta tukevan toimintamateriaalin kehittäminen.

Opinnäytetyön teoriaosuudessa käsiteltiin Suomen evankelis-luterilaisen kirkon liturgisia värejä, Ylivieskan seurakunnan varhaisnuorisotyötä, erilaisia opetus- ja oppimistyylejä, ihmisen motivaatiota ja luovuutta, taidekasvatusta ja taidekasvatusta seurakunnissa.

Materiaalipaketin valmistus ja rastiradan testaaminen sujuivat suunnitelmien mukaan, ja palaute oli pääosin positiivista. Leiriläiset pitivät rastiradasta ja suurimman osan isosista mielestä radan ohjaaminen oli mukavaa. Isosten ja ohjaajien mielestä rastirata soveltui varhaisnuorisolle. Toimintamuotona rastirata oli toimiva, mieluisa ja opettavainen.

The purpose of the thesis was to produce a material package for the early youth work of Ylivieska parish. In the material package was to be different kinds of exercises based on the methods used in art education. The package also had to be fit for teaching about the liturgical colors and the Bible in the summer camps and other events of early youth work in Ylivieska parish. The material package was tested in the form of a task track for the first time in the summer of 2017 in two children's camps. The young confirmed volunteers also took part in the execution by going through the task track with the children and helping them. After this the material was developed into its final form based on the feedback from the other camp leaders, the young confirmed volunteers and the children themselves. The two main purposes of the thesis were to 1. take into account that different children learn different ways and support different kinds or learners, and to 2. produce a material package that supports the creativity of a child.

In the theory part of the thesis such things as the liturgical colors of the finnish Evangelical Lutheran church, early youth work of Ylivieska parish, different kinds of teaching and learning styles, motivation, creativity, art education and art education in church were discussed.

The producing of the material package and the testing of the task track worked out as planned and the feedback was mainly positive. The children liked the task track and most of the confirmed volunteers thought that it was fun to guide the children on the track. Both the volunteers and camp leaders thought that the track was suitable for the school aged children. The task track was functional, eductional and pleasing for the children.
