Opas: "Ohjeita vainajan omaisille"

Abstract

Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli päivittää ”Ohjeita vainajan omaisille” -opasta Kanta-Hämeen keskussairaalaan. Tavoitteena oli saada aikaan käyttökelpoinen opas läheisensä menettäneelle. Sairaalan edellinen opas ei täyttänyt tehtäväänsä parhaalla mahdollisella tavalla, joten sitä toivot-tiin päivitettäväksi inhimillisempään suuntaan.

Opinnäytetyö oli toiminnallinen opinnäytetyö. Opinnäytetyön tietoperus-tassa käsiteltiin vainajaa sairaalassa ja omaisten ohjausta. Oppaan suun-nittelun apuna käytettiin vanhaa opasta, tilaajan toiveita ja muiden sai-raaloiden vastaavia oppaita. Opas toteutettiin tiiviissä yhteistyössä tilaa-jan kanssa. Toiminnalliseen osuuteen kuului myös oppaan esittely tilaa-valla osastolla (4B), josta pyydettiin suullista palautetta tehdystä oppaas-ta.

Tilaaja oli tyytyväinen ohjeeseen. Ohje on käytettävissä osastolla 4B, sen löytää sairaalan intrasta ja myös muut osastot voivat hyödyntää sitä halu-tessaan. Johtopäätöksenä voidaan todeta, että oppaan päivittäminen oli hyödyllistä ja tilaajan tarpeisiin vastaavaa. Kehittämisehdotuksena esite-tään oppaan päivittämistä myös jatkossa, jotta yhteystiedot ovat jatkuvas-ti ajan tasalla. Työtä hyödynnetään osastolla jatkossa.

The purpose of the thesis is to update a guide for someone who has lost someone close to him/her in hospital. Guide was made with and for the central hospital of Kanta-Häme. Former guide is really inhospitable and unemotional. That´s why it was hoped to be updated for it to be more humane.

Thesis was functional thesis. Dead person in hospital and guiding the be-reaved is discussed in the base information of the thesis. Older guide, or-derers wishes and other guides from the same hospital were used for planning the new guide. Guide was made in close collaboration with the orderer. Guide was presented in the ordering unit as part of the function-al part of the thesis. After presentation feedback was asked from the or-dering unit.

Orderer was very pleased for the guide. Ordering unit is using the guide and it can found from the network of central hospital of Kanta-Häme so other units can use it also if they want. In conclusion it can be stated that updating the guide was useful and it benefits orderer. As a proposal of development it can be said that furthermore updating guide is important. At least different contact information should be kept updated. Thesis is exploited in the unit in future.
