Nalleneuvola : Lasten ja perheiden terveyden edistämisen toimintamalli

Abstract

Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli tuottaa Nalleneuvola- toimintamalli lasten ja perheiden terveyden edistämiseksi Iisalmen Perheentalolle. Tavoitteena oli lasten ja perheiden terveyden edistäminen leikin avulla. Toisena tavoitteena oli moniammatillisen yhteistyön kehittäminen. Lisäksi opinnäytetyössä pohdittiin lasten ja perheiden vuorovaikutuksen ja osallisuuden merkitystä terveyden edistämisessä.

Opinnäytetyön toimeksiantaja oli Iisalmen Perheentalo. Työ koostui lasten ja perheiden terveyden edistämisen toimintamallin suunnittelusta ja toteutuksesta. Opinnäytetyö toteutettiin projektiopintojen pohjalta. Lapsille tarjottiin oikeaa neuvolatoimintaa jäljittelevä neuvolakokemus leikin kautta. Nalleneuvolat pidettiin Iisalmen Perheentalon perhekeskus Onni Ja Ilonassa sekä Iisalmen kaupungin kirjastossa.

Nalleneuvoloissa kävi yhteensä 160 lasta ja saadun palautteen perusteella toiminta oli lapsilähtöistä ja toivottua. Lpaset olivat iloisia ja tyytyväisiä Nalleneuvola- käyntien jälkeen. Osa lapsista innostui leikkimään oma-aloitteisesti ja tutki lelujaan oikeilla tutkimusvälineillä. Yhteistyötä tehtiin Itä-Suomen poliisilaitoksen ja hammaslääketieteen opiskelijan kanssa. Teemoja Nalleneuvolassa olivat terveellinen ravitsemus, turvallisuus, sekä suun ja hampaiden hoito. Lisäksi vanhempien toiveesta järjestettiin lasten ensiaputaitojen kurssi.

Iisalmen Perheentalo saa opinnäytetyöstä toimintamallin, joka on hyödynnettävissä toiminnan suunnittelussa ja kehittämisessä. Toimintamalli on siirrettävissä päiväkoteihin ja muihin Ylä-Savon kuntiin. Kehitysideana voisi olla hyvinvointineuvola perheille. Jatkotutkimusaiheita voisivat olla, voiko Nalleneuvola vähentää lasten neuvolapelkoja sekä millaisia eri menetelmiä lasten ja perheiden terveyden edistämiseksi voi käyttää leikin lisäksi.

The purpose of this thesis was to produce a Teddy bear child health centre format to advance children's and their families health in the Family house in Iisalmi. The aim was to further the health of the children and the families through play. The second aim was to develop a multiprofessional cooperation. In addition to this, the thesis considered the significance of the interaction and the involvement in the advancement of the health of the children and the families.

The principal for this thesis was the Family house in Iisalmi. The work consisted of planning and the execution of the operating model for the advancement of the children's and the families' health.The thesis was implemented based on the project studies. Through play, the children were offered an ex-perience mimicking a real child healthcentre visit. The teddy bear child health centre appointments were held in the family centre Onni and Ilona in the Family house in Iisalmi, as well as in the Iisalmi city library.

Altogether 160 children visited the Teddy bear child health centre and the feedback proved the operation was child focused and desired. Children were happy and content after their visit to the Teddy bear child health centre. Some of the children started playing unprompted and used real instruments to examine their toys. The cooperation was done together with the Eastern Finland police and the dentistry student. The themes in the Teddy bear child health centre were healthy nutrition, safety, and taking care of the teeth and mouth. In addition to this, a first aid course was arranged for the children as a result of the parents' wishes.

Through this thesis, the Family house in Iisalmi gains an operating model that they are able to use in the future when planning and developing its activities. The operating model is transferrableinto the daycare centres as well as in other municipalities in the Upper Savo. The development idea could be a wellbeing health centre for the families. An extension themes for the research could be; Can Teddy bear child health centre reduce the children's fear towards child health centres, and what kind of methods there are in addition to play to advance the health of the children and the families.
