Kirahvitkin surevat - Raportti taiteellisesta opinnäytetyöstä

Abstract

Kirahvitkin surevat on taiteellinen opinnäytetyö, jonka aiheena on ihmisten ja eläinten viestinnän ja tunne-elämän samankaltaisuuden tutkiminen. Teos esitettiin Kuopiossa Sotkulla kaksi kertaa. Ensi-ilta oli 17.3.2018 ja toinen esitys 18.3.2018.

Tässä raportissa avataan teoksen syntyprosessia ja päästetään lukija sisälle teoksen koreografisiin valintoihin ja ajatuksiin niiden taustalla. Raportissa avataan myös teoksen syntyyn vaikuttanutta teoreettista taustaa ja harjoitusprosessia. Teoksessa näytettiin tunteiden kautta tanssijoissa hyvin hauras, vahva ja inhimillinen puoli, joka yhdistyi eläinten samankaltaisiin kokemuksiin tunne-elämässä. Raportti tulee avamaan näitä kokemuksia ja pohtimaan mikä prosessissa oli avartavaa Sara Harjamäelle.

Sara Harjamäki on teoksellaan halunnut tutkia myös moniammatillisuuden hyödyntämistä taiteellisessa työskentelyssä opiskellessaan aiemmin vuosina 2011-2013 eläintenhoitajaksi.

Kirahvitkin surevat is an artistic thesis on the subject of human and animal communication and the similarity of emotional life. The premiere of the thesis was performed at Sotku in Kuopio on the 17th of March 2018, followed up by another performance on the 18th of March.

This report describes the creation process of the thesis and allows the reader to get into the mind of the artist through explanation of the choreographical choices made, and the thought process behind them. The report also explains the theoretical background and the training process behind the artistic work. In the artistic work emotions were shown through the dancers very fragile, strong and humane sides that were compared to the similar emotional experiences in the animals. The report will open up these experiences and reflect on what was mind opening for Sara Harjamäki.

Sara Harjamäki graduated as an Animal Attendant (studies from 2011-2013). With her work, Sara has also wanted to explore the opportunities of utilizing professionalism in different fields of artistic work.
