VARASTON HYLLYPAIKKASIIRTOJEN ABC-ANALYYSI SORMAT OY:SSÄ

Abstract

Varaston toiminnan tehostaminen on yksi yrityksen keskeisiä kehittämisalueita. Varaston tehokkuuden arvioinnissa voidaan käyttää erilaisia mittareita, joista yksi on keräilyn optimointi. Tällöin nimikkeiden sijoittelun ensisijaisena perusteena on se, kuinka usein kullakin hyllypaikalla käydään, jotta keräily nopeutuu ja tehostuu. Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena on tarkastella nimikkeiden menekkiä ja tämän perusteella suunnitella menevämmille tuotteille uudet hyllypaikat, joista keräily tapahtuu helpommin ja nopeammin. Nimikkeiden sijoittelun järjestystä voidaan suunnitella hyödyntämällä ABC-analyysiä, jota on sovellettu tässä opinnäytetyössä. Aineistona on käytetty nimikkeiden siirtoja vuoden 2017 ajalta.

Aineisto on analysoitu tuoteryhmittäin, jolloin ehdotukset uusille hyllypaikoille on tehty ensisijaisesti tuoteryhmien sisällä. Nimikkeiden määrä elää kuitenkin jatkuvasti ja osa niistä on poistunut tätä työtä tehdessä, samoin kuin uusia nimikkeitä on tullut valikoimaan. Nämä ja muutamat aineiston virheet aiheuttivat haasteita täysin kattavan sijoittelun suunnittelulle.

Työn tuloksena ehdotetaan merkittävää nimikemäärää sijoitettavaksi uusille hyllypaikoille tuoteryyhmien sisällä. Ehdotusten toteuttamisen laajuudesta ei ole tehty vielä päätöksiä, mutta tuoteryhmien sisällä tapahtuvat uudelleensijoittelut ovat kohtuullisen helppoja toteuttaa varaston toiminnan häiriintymättä.

The improvement of warehouses functions is one of the essential objectives for com-panies. There can be used multiple measures in estimating the warehouses effective-ness and of them is optimization of gathering. This means that the primary reason for relocating the items is how many times have the shelf locations been visited so the gathering can be made more effective and improved. The meaning of this thesis is to study the consumption of items and plan new shelf locations for the most visited items so gathering can happen more easily and faster. The relocating of items can be planned by using ABC-analysis which has been applied on this thesis. The used data is based on the amount of how many times items have been transferred from year 2017.

The data has been analyzed by product groups and the suggestions for new shelf lo-cations have been made primarily within the product groups. However, the number of items still varies and some of them have been removed during the making of this thesis as well as new items have been introduced to the selection. The before men-tioned factors and a handful of few mistakes in the data caused challenges for a com-plete location planning.

As a result of this thesis there are a significant amount of suggestions for relocating items into new shelf locations within the product groups. The decision for the scale of these suggestions has not yet been made but the relocations within the product groups is moderately easy to execute without disrupting the functions of the ware-house.
