Satakunta leikkii : Koko Suomi Leikkii- hankkeen monitahoarviointi

Abstract

Tämän opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli arvioida Koko Suomi Leikkii- hankkeen tavoitteiden saavuttamista Mannerheimin Lastensuojeluliiton Satakunnan piirin alueella. Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli selvittää miten hankkeelle asetetut tavoitteet saavutettiin hanketyöntekijöiden ja toimintaan osallistuneiden näkökulmasta.

Opinnäytetyössä toteutettu hankearviointi toteutettiin monitahoarviointina, lisäksi toteutettiin lapsivaikutusten arviointi. Hankearvioinnin aineisto kerättiin teemahaastattelujen ja havainnoinnin kautta. Teemahaastattelujen (n=5) teemat muodostettiin hankkeelle valtakunnallisesti laadittujen tavoitteiden pohjalta. Teemahaastatteluihin osallistuivat hanketyöntekijät (n=2) sekä toimintaan osallistuneet (vapaa-ehtoiset ohjaajat (n=3) ja aikuiset (n=4)). Lasten (n=18) osuutta tutkittiin havainnoimalla heidän toimintaansa.

Opinnäytetyön tuloksena tuotettiin arvolausekkeet, jotka muodostuivat teemahaastattelujen ja havainnoinnin tuloksista. Arvolausekkeiden tarkoitus on helpottaa arvioinnin tulosten hyödyntämistä. Hanke saavutti sille asetetut tavoitteet Satakunnassa melko hyvin. Hankkeen aikana oli tarkoitus perustaa Terhokerho jokaiseen Mannerheimin Lastensuojeluliiton Satakunnan piirin kuntaan, tämä ei täysin toteutunut. Koko Suomi Leikkii- hanke kuitenkin tuotiin jokaiseen kuntaan vaihtoehtoisin tavoin, joten kaikin kaikkiaan hanke tavoitti ihmisiä laajasti Satakunnassa.

Hankkeen aikana toimineet Terhokerhot olivat onnistuneita kohtaamispaikkoja lapsille ja ikäihmisille. Tärkeää onkin, että ne tai niiden kaltainen toiminta saisi jatkumoa tulevaisuudessa. Lisäksi opinnäytetyössä ilmenee, ettei sukupolvien välistä leikkimistä ole juurikaan Suomessa tutkittu ja kehittämisehdotuksena esitettiinkin tutkimuksen lisäämistä.

The purpose of this thesis was to evaluate in the Satakunta district of The Mannerheim League for Child Welfare reaching the goals of the project Koko Suomi Leik-kii (Whole Finland Plays Games). The aim of the thesis was to find out how the set goals were reached from the viewpoint of the project workers and other partici-pants.

The project evaluation implemented in the thesis was carried out as a multi-faceted evaluation, in addition to an evaluation of impacts on children. The material for the project evaluation was gathered through theme interviews and observations. The themes for the theme interviews (n=5) were based on the nationally drawn project goals. The theme interviews were participated by the project workers (n=2) and other participants (voluntary supervisors (n=3) and adults (n=4)). The children’s part was examined by observing their activities.

As a result of the thesis, valuation clauses based on the results of the theme interviews and observations were produced. The purpose of the valuation clauses is to facilitate utilization of the evaluation results. The project reached its goals quite well in Satakunta. During the project, the idea was to establish a Terhokerho club in each municipality of The Mannerheim League for Child Welfare’s Satakunta district, but this did not fully come true. However, the Whole Finland Plays Games project was brought to each municipality in alternative ways, so on the whole, the project reached people widely in Satakunta.

The Terhokerho clubs working during the project were successful meeting places for children and the aged. It is important that they, or other similar activity, would continue in the future. In addition, the thesis shows that playing games between generations has not much been researched in Finland, and increasing research was presented as a development suggestion.
