Eipä aurinko pilveä pelkää : Oulun kristillisen päiväkoti Toivon arvot lasten näkökulmasta

Abstract

Sain idean toiminnalliseen opinnäytetyöhöni Eipä aurinko pilveä pelkää – Oulun kristillisen päiväkoti Toivon arvot lasten näkökulmasta – teoksen toteutukseen työkokemukseni (lastentarhanopettajan sijaisuudet) pohjalta Oulun kristillisessä päiväkoti Versossa vuonna 2017. Ehdotin opinnäytetyöni digikirjan toteutusta päiväkodin varhaiskasvatusjohtajalle ja hän otti idean hyvin vastaan.

Opinnäytetyöni aiheena on kristillisen päiväkoti Toivon arvot. Opinnäytetyöni tarkoituksena on selvittää, kuinka Oulun kristillisen päiväkoti Toivon viisi-kuusivuotiaat lapset hahmottavat päiväkotinsa arvoja tällä hetkellä päiväkodin arjessa sekä kuinka päiväkoti Toivon nykyiset ja uudet lapset voisivat hahmottaa kyseisiä arvoja myös tulevaisuudessa. Digikirjaa toteutettaessa huomioin valtakunnallisen varhaiskasvatussuunnitelman perusteet 2016 ja varhaiskasvatuksen pedagogisen toiminnan viitekehykset; laaja-alaisen osaamisen alueet sekä oppimisen alueet niiltä osin, jotka liittyvät toiminnalliseen opinnäytetyöhöni. Valmis tuotos tukee Oulun kristillisen päiväkodin kristillistä kasvatusta.

Ohjasin ja toteutin digikirjan tekoprosessin Oulun kristillisessä päiväkoti Toivossa huhtikuussa 2018, jolloin päiväkoti Toivon viisi-kuusivuotiaat lapset sanoittivat ja kuvittivat digikirjan Eipä aurinko pilveä pelkää. Digikirja tulee Oulun kristillisen päiväkodin käyttöön heidän nettisivuilleen sekä päiväkodin omaan käyttöön sähköisen tiedoston muodossa. Digikirjasta on myös mahdollista painattaa kirja. Digikirjaideaa voidaan päiväkodissa käyttää tulevaisuudessa haastattelemalla uusia lapsia sekä eri ikäryhmiä laatimieni kysymysten pohjalta ja toteuttaa tällä tavoin uusi kirja. Digikirja voi toimia yhtenä päiväkodin kristillisen kasvatuksen materiaaleista. Valmis digikirja otettiin Päiväkoti Toivossa ilolla vastaan. Palautteen olen koonnut tähän opinnäytetyöhöni. Koen digikirja-projektin onnistuneeksi kokonaisuudeksi.

I had the idea for this practice-based thesis Why would the sun fier a cloud? – the digital book based upon my work experience as a substitute kindergarten teacher in Christian day care centre Verso in Oulu during the year 2017. I suggested my thesis the digital book implementation to the day care centre’s early childhood education manager and she valued the idea.

The topic of my thesis is Christian day care centre Toivo’s values. The purpose of my thesis is to examine how Christian day care centre Toivo’s five- to six-year-old children perceive their day care centre’s values at this moment during their every-day activities and also how the day care centre Toivo’s present and the new children could perceive these values also in the future. During the making of the digital book I paid attention to the national fundamentals of the early childhood education plan 2016 and to the pedagogical frame of reference of early childhood education: pervasive areas of skills and areas of learning related to my practice-based thesis. The work supports the Christian day care centre’s Christian raising.

I conducted and carried out the process of making the digital book in the Christian day care centre Toivo in April 2018, when the Toivo’s five- and six-year-old children told their thoughts and draw pictures for the digital book Why would the sun fier a cloud? The digital book will be available at Oulu Christian day care centre’s web page and day care centre Toivo can read it from a datafile. It is also possible to print a book of the digital book. The digital book idea can be used by day care centre Toivo by interviewing new children and different age groups based on the questions I have made and make a new digital book. The digital book can work as one of the day care centre’s Christian educational material. The digital book was received with joy by the day care centre Toivo. I have collected the feedback in my thesis report. I see this digital book project’s outcome being successful.
