Lean Systemin käyttöönotto Häggblom Kokkolassa : Varaston prosessin näkökulma

Abstract

Työn aihe seuraa Ab A. Häggblomin konepajan toiminnanohjausjärjestelmän vaihtoprojektia projektiryhmän työntekijän näkökulmasta. Toiminnanohjausjärjestelmää lähdettiin vaihtamaan, koska edellinen järjestelmä oli vanha eikä enää palvellut yritystä sen vaatimusten mukaisesti. Toiminnanohjausjärjestelmän vaihdoksella toivottiin saatavan parannusta muun muassa yrityksen toiminnan raportointiin, varaston saldojen paikkansapitävyyteen ja näiden hallintaan sekä tulevaisuuden toiminnan kehittämiseen.

Projektin tavoitteena oli yrityksen toiminnan kannalta oleellisen tiedon siirtäminen vanhasta ERPjärjestelmästä uuteen, järjestelmän parametrointi yrityksen yksilöllisten tarpeiden mukaan sekä yrityksen henkilöstön kouluttaminen uuteen järjestelmään. Työn aihe tarkasteli järjestelmää yleisellä tasolla kuitenkin keskittyen järjestelmän varaston toimintoihin ja näiden parametrointiin. Itse toiminnanohjausjärjestelmän lisäksi haluttiin varastolla ottaa käyttöön samalta kehittäjältä varaston toimintoihin tarkoitettu, mobiililaitteille suunnattu järjestelmä, joka omalta osaltaan helpottaa ja nopeuttaa varaston työskentelyä sekä tiedonkulkua.

Järjestelmän parametrointi tapahtui esimerkiksi SQL-tyyppisin, osittain vapaasi määriteltävin lausekkein, jotka määrittävät muun muassa sitä, kuinka järjestelmä hakee ja käsittelee tietoa sekä tekee automaattisia toimintoja ja tausta-ajoja, jotka eivät tarvitse käyttäjän erillistä työpanosta.

The subject of this thesis is the ERP system replacement project at Ab A. Häggblom and is from the perspective of a project group employee. The company decided to change their ERP system because the previous system in use was old and no longer served the company according to its requirements. The change of the ERP system was expected to improve the company’s operational reporting, the accuracy of stock balances, improvement in managing of stock balances and the possibility to further development company and its operation in the future.

The aim of the project was to transfer information from the old ERP system to the new system, to parameterize the system according to the individual needs of the company and to train the company’s personnel to the new system. The thesis provides an introduction to the system functions at a general level, however, focusing on the system's warehouse and inventory functions and their parameterization. In addition to the ERP system itself, there was a deployment of a mobile system aimed at warehouse operations from the same system developer, which is developed to ease and speed up the work of a warehouse employee and the flow of information in the system.

System parameterization was implemented, mainly for example, with SQL-type, partially freedefinable expressions that determine, how the system retrieves and processes data, and performs automated functions and background runs which run without the need for separate input from a user.
