Perehdytyskansio Sokos Hotel Koljonvirran vastaanottoon

Abstract

Tämän toiminnallisen opinnäytetyön aiheena oli perehtyä oppimiseen ja perehdyttämiseen sekä tuottaa toimiva perehdytyskansio toimeksiantajalle Iisalmen Sokos Hotel Koljonvirtaan. Perehdytyskansion tavoitteena on helpottaa uuden tulokkaan perehdyttämistä hotellin vastaanoton työtehtäviin sekä olla jo talossa olevien työntekijöiden työn tukena. Prosessin aikana kehitettiin perehdytyskansion lisäksi myös opas perehdyttäjälle. Perehdyttäjänopas sisältää perehdyttämisen tarkistuslistan sekä perehdytettävälle annettavan palautelomakkeen. Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli luoda toimiva perehdytyskansio, jota apuna käyttäen uusi työntekijä oppii mahdollisimman tehokkaasti uudet asiat. Opinnäytetyö koostuu opinnäytetyöraportista, jossa käsitellään oppimista ja perehdyttämistä, sekä toimeksiantajalle toteutetusta perehdytyskansiosta, joka sisältää perehdytyskansion ja oppaan perehdyttäjälle.

Materiaaleja opinnäytetyön teoriaosuuteen kerättiin pääasiassa oppimista ja perehdyttämistä koskevasta kirjallisuudesta sekä hieman Internetistä. Aineistoa opinnäytetyön tuotteen toteutukseen saatiin tekemällä laadulliset kyselylomakkeet vastaanoton työntekijöille ja hotellipäällikölle sekä haastattelemalla hotellipäällikköä. Kirjallista aineistoa tuotetta varten kerättiin vastaanotossa olevista oppaista ja ohjeista sekä erilaisista kirjallisuuslähteistä.

Kyselylomakkeiden tuloksista ja hotellipäällikön haastattelusta selvisi perehdyttämisen merkitys ja perehdytyskansion käytännöllisyys. Koska Sokos Hotel Koljonvirran vastaanotossa ei ole aikaisempaa perehdytyskansiota, koki jokainen sen tulevan tarpeeseen ja helpottamaan uusien työntekijöiden perehdyttämistä. Perehdytyskansio on koottu toimeksiantajan toiveiden mukaisesti sisältämään yleiset perustiedot yrityksestä sekä tarkemmat työtehtävät ja ohjeet eri tilanteisiin.

The purpose of this functional thesis was to study learning and orientation and produce a familiarisation guide to Sokos Hotel Koljonvirta. The aim of the familiarisation guidebook is to facilitate guiding of new entrants at the hotel reception. The aim was to create an effective orientation program, which new employees can use to learn new things as effeciently as possible. The thesis includes the guidebook, orientation checklist and feedback form to the mentor.

The functional part started by giving interview forms to Sokos Hotel Koljonvirta´s employees to identify the need for the familiarisation guidebook. The familiarisation guide was compiled according to the wishes of the hotel manager. She wanted it to contain basic information about the hotel, as well as detailed instructions for various tasks and situations.

The thesis consists of the thesis report, which considers learning and orientation. Information to the theoretical part was collected from literature and some from the internet. The material to the guidebook was gathered by interviewing the hotel manager and the other employees and by collecting information from other guidebooks.

The interviews revealed the importance of orientation and the practicality of the familiarisation guide. Because there is no previous familiarisation guide at Sokos Hotel Koljonvirta reception, employees thought it would be useful for making learning easier for the new employees.
