Tilasta kuvaan : hukkakulma

Abstract

Lopputyöni aihe on tila. Olen pohtinut tilaa, tilan kokemista ja tilojen ja ihmisten välistä suhdetta. Lisäksi käsittelen kolmiulotteisen tilan esittämistä kaksiulotteisena kuvan kautta. Kuvallinenosuus on kuvasarja Hukkakulma, josta suurin osa on kuvattu kauppakeskuksissa. Ne ovattiloja, joihin on laitettu erilaisia asioita, jotta niillä olisi joku funktio. Aloitan arkkitehtuurivalokuvauksen historiasta. Käyn tekstissäni läpi muutamiavalokuvaajia ja heidän tapaansa kuvata tilaa. Työn edetessä olen tutkinut omaa työskentelyänija lopputyöni kuvallista osaa. Lopuksi olen purkanut tämän paperille. Opinnäytetyöni on ollutminulle tutkimusmatka valokuvaukseeni, ymmärtämään omaa työskentelyäni ja kiinnostustani tiloihin.

The subject of my final assignment is space. I will concentrate on space, how we experience space and the relationship between space and human. I will also elaborate how we represent the three-dimensional space through two-dimensional image. Photo representations in this work is a series ”Waste of Space”. Most of the pictures are taken in shopping malls. To these premises they have but different kind of things, so that they would have some function. I will start with the history of architectural photography. I will go through a few photographers and their way of photographing space. As my work progresse on this my final assignmenthas progressed, I have also studied my own way of working and my photography series for my my final assignment. In the end I have extracted this paper. This has been journey a journey to understand my own work and to understand my interest in space.
