Henkilökohtainen opetussuunnitelma soittomotivaation tukena

Abstract

Opinnäytetyön tekijä on toiminut Härmänmaan musiikkiopiston viulunsoitonopettajana syksystä 1998 alkaen. Opetustyö on opettanut häntä jatkuvaan työnsä kehittelyyn, jonka yhtenä tuloksena on tämä opinnäytetyö.

Opinnäytetyö kertoo, että musiikkiopiston perusasteen opiskelija hyötyy henkilökohtaisen opetussuunnitelman laadinnasta. Laatiessaan opettajan johdolla henkilökohtaista opetussuunnitelmaa soitto-oppilas oppii hahmottamaan laajempia kokonaisuuksia ja ymmärtämään kaiken opiskeltavan asian liittyvän aiemmin opittuun. Ihminen on luontaisesti motivoituneempi, kun hän saa itse vaikuttaa tekemiseensä.

Opinnäytetyön liitteessä kerrotaan myös eräästä tavasta jaksottaa perustason viulunsoitonopetus seitsemään vuoteen. Tätä seitsenvuotissuunnitelmaa voi käyttää vuosittaisten henkilökohtaisten opetussuunnitelmien runkona.

Kertaalleen suunniteltu vuoden kokonaispaketti helpottaa kappale- ja etydivalintoja pitkin lukuvuotta. Henkilökohtaisessa opetussuunnitelmassa voidaan myös sopia, millaisella aikataululla kappaleita pyritään valmistamaan sekä esittämään yleisölle. Tämä toimii erityisen hyvin silloin, kun perinteiset vuositutkinnot on korvattu lukukausittaisina esiintymisinä.

Author of this thesis has been working as violin teacher at Härmänmaa music institute since autumn 1998. The work itself has taught her constantly to develop at the work. As one of the results of this learning process there is this thesis.

This thesis is about how music school pupil is benefitting of making the personal learning program to him or herself. When making this personal learning program with the teacher, the pupil will learn to see larger entireties. Also pupil will understand how the thing he or she is learning at the moment connects with all the things that had been learned before. And all this comes from the idea that a person is better motivated to do what he or she is doing, when person has been able to affect to the decisions what he or she will be doing.

In this thesis there is also told about a way how to make basic level violin student through the music school in seven years. This seven year program can be used as a skeleton to the annually made personal learning programs.

After the pupil and the teacher have made the personal learning program for the year, that plan will ease picking up the etudes and pieces during the school year. In the plan there can also be written down when pieces are planned to present to the audience. This will work especially when annual examinations are replaced with public appearances at every term.
