Rinnallasi kulkien : Menetelmiä henkirikoksen uhrien läheisten vertaisryhmille

Abstract

Opinnäytetyön tehtävänä oli menetelmäpankin tuottaminen, tuoden samalla esiin henkirikoksen uhrin läheisen asemaa tänään, Suomessa ja maailmalla. Uhrien läheisten asemaa ja toipumista on Suomessa tutkittu vain vähän. Tutkimustietoa oli haastavaa löytää myöskin muualta maailmasta.

Aihetta tutkiessa oli tärkeää huomioida henkirikoksessa läheisensä menettäneiden ainutlaatuisen vahva traumatisoituminen ja sen tuomat haasteet arjessa.

Menetelmäpankki on tehty Huoma - Henkirikoksen uhrien läheiset ry:n vertaisryhmille ja niiden vetäjille, antamaan uusia näkökulmia vertaistyöhön.

Menetelmäpankin perustana käytettiin kyselyä Huoma ry:n vertaisryhmien vetäjille. Kyselyssä kartoitettiin minkä kokoisia ryhmiä on, minkälaista osaamista ryhmänvetäjillä on, sekä minkälaista osaamista ja mitä työkaluja he kokivat kaipaavansa työskentelynsä tueksi.

Opinnäytetyön menetelmiksi valikoitui kyselyn pohjalta Hyvän mielen tehtäväpakki ammattilaiselle- teoksen tehtäviä, sekä erilaisia käyttötapoja Pohjolan voimaeläin – ja Inspiraatiokortit korttipakoille. Järjestö on tilannut työkalut kaikkien vertaisryhmiensä käyttöön.

The purpose of this thesis was to produce a method bank and also highlight the statue of a family member of a homicide victim today, in Finland and worldwide. Hardly any research has been done into the status and recovery of the victims' relatives in Finland. It was also challenging to find research information elsewhere in the world.

When the topic was researched, it was important to consider the unique, strong trauma of those who have lost their loved ones in the homicide and the challenges they bring to everyday life.

The method bank has been created for peer groups of the Huoma – Henkirikoksen uhrien läheiset ry. and their leaders to give new perspectives on peer work.

The method bank was based on a questionnaire for peer group leaders of the Huoma Association. The survey mapped the size of the groups, the type of expertise the team leaders have, and what type of skills and tools they felt they need to support their work.

On the basis of the questionnaire data, Hyvän mielen tehtäväpakki ammattilaiselle- workbook tasks and the different uses of the Pohjolan voimaeläin – and Inspiraatiokortit card packs were selected as suitable methods. The association has ordered tools for use by all its peer groups.
