Esite Nepsytiimistä Keski-Pohjanmaan sosiaali- ja terveyspalvelukuntayhtymä Soitelle : Neuropsykiatrisen häiriön omaavan lapsen arki ja sen haasteet

Abstract

Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli tuottaa tuotekehittelyprojektina esite Nepsytiimille, joka on osa las-tensairaalaa Keski-Pohjanmaan sosiaali- ja terveyspalvelukuntayhtymä Soitessa. Nepsytiimissä on kak-si kuntoutusohjaajaa, jotka pyrkivät mahdollistamaan tarvittavat tukitoimet lapsen arjen helpottamisen suhteen. Aihe valikoitui työharjoittelun myötä kyseisessä yksikössä. Koska Nepsytiimin toiminta on aloitettu vuoden 2018 alussa, oli esitteen tuottaminen tarpeellinen.

Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli saada tuotettua kattava sekä käytännönläheinen esite lapselle, nuorelle, perheelle ja ammattihenkilöille Soiten Nepsytiimistä. Tavoitteena oli saada tuotettua esite, joka olisi helppolukuinen sekä ulkonäöllisesti toimiva neuropsykiatrisesti oireilevalle lapselle sekä nuorelle.

Nepsytiimi on toiminut vain muutaman vuoden Soitessa. Siksi heillä ei ole ollut ollenkaan omaa esitet-tä tai vastaavaa, jolla informoitaisiin perheitä, kouluja sekä hoitoalan ammattihenkilökuntaa. Esitettä oli toivottu Nepsytiimin henkilökunnan toimesta.

Opinnäytetyön teoriaosuus sisältää tietoa yleisimmistä neuropsykiatrisista häiriöistä, kuten ADHD/ADD, autisminkirjo, Asperger, Tourette sekä eriasteiset oppimisvaikeudet. Tietoperusta pitää myös sisällään potilasohjausta, kuinka kirjallinen esite tukee suullista ohjausta. Myös käsitteet toimivan ja hyvän esitteen ominaisuudet on avattu, jotta saadaan ymmärrettävyys sekä käytännönläheisyys tuo-tettua teorian pohjalta. Teoriaosuus on koottu luotettavista ja ajankohtaisista lähteistä.

Valmis opinnäytetyöprojekti toteutettiin esitteenä, vihkomuotoisena yhteistyössä Soiten viestinnän kanssa. Esitteestä tuli kaksipuolinen, ja sen sisältö koostui työelämäohjaajan toiveiden mukaisesti sekä teoriatiedoista, joita olin koonnut. Esitteen sisällössä huomioin teoreettisen tiedon sekä Nepsytiimin toimikuvan. Palaute esitteestä oli positiivista ja hyvää. Esitteen avulla pystytään varmistamaan tiedon-saantia sekä potilasohjausta.

The purpose of this thesis was to product as a product development project a brochure for Team Nepsy, which is part of children’s hospital in Soite, Central Ostrobothnia Joint Municipal Authority for social and health services. Team Nepsyhas two rehabilitation counselors who strive to provide the necessary support to help the child’s everyday life. The subject was selected during an internship in this unit. And since Team Nepsy started operations in early 2018, it was essential to produce a brochure.

The aim of the thesis was to produce a comprehensive and practical brochure of Team Nepsy for the children, teens, family and professionals. The aim was to produce a brochure that would be easy to read and the appearance would be functional for a neuropsychiatric child and teen.

Team Nepsy has only been active for a few years in Soite. Therefore, they didn’t have their own brochure or anything at all to inform families, schools and healthcare professionals. The brochure was welcomed by the workers in Team Nepsy.

The theory part of the thesis includes information on the most common neuropsychiatric disorders, such as ADHD/ADD, autism, Asperger, Tourette and various learning difficulties. The theoretical framework also includes patient guidance on how a written document or brochure supports oral guidance. The features of a good and usable brochure are discussed to ensure a brochure that is easy to understand and practical. The theory section is compiled from reliable and up to date sources.

The final thesis project was carried out as a brochure, in a booklet format, in cooperation with Soite’s communications unit. The brochure became two-sided, the contents consisted of the wishes of a career counselor and supported my theoretical knowledge. In the contents of the brochure I take into account theoretical knowledge and the description of Team Nepsy. The feedback on the brochure was positive and good. The brochure is used to ensure access to information and patient guidance.
