Neuvolan ennaltaehkäisevä perhetyö perheen arjessa

Abstract

Opinnäytetyössä selvitettiin, miltä neuvolan ennaltaehkäisevä perhetyö näyttää per-heiden näkökulmasta ja miten päivähoidon henkilökunta näkee yhteistyön neuvolan ennaltaehkäisevän perhetyön kanssa Kouvolassa. Opinnäytetyössä tuotiin esille neu-volan ennaltaehkäisevän perhetyön ja päiväkodin näkökulmaa perheiden arjen hallin-taan. Teoria osa muodostui lapsiperheiden arjen tukemisesta, neuvolan ennaltaehkäisevästä perhetyöstä ja päiväkodin osallisuudesta. Opinnäytetyö perustui kahteen aineistoon: neuvolan ennaltaehkäisevän perhetyön 13 asiakasperheelle lähetettyyn kyselyyn ja kolmeen päiväkodin henkilökunnalle tehtyyn haastatteluun, jotka koskivat yhteistyötä perheiden ja neuvolan kanssa. Aineistojen otos on pieni mutta suuntaa antava. Opinnäytetyön tuloksista selviää, että neuvolan ennaltaehkäisevästä perhetyöllä on ol-lut merkitystä perheiden arjen hallintaan. Päiväkodin ja neuvoloiden yhteistyö ei ole vielä aktiivista. Päiväkoti tukee perheitä joka päivä omalla työskentelyllään. Oli mer-kittävää huomata, että päiväkoti ja neuvola toimivat samojen arvojen mukaan, joihin kuuluvat kuuleminen, kunnioitus, luottamus ja dialoogisuus, näin molempien työssä korostuu perheen ja työntekijän välinen suhde. Toivottavasti opinnäytetyö herättää keskustelua perheen, neuvolan ja päiväkodin yhteistyöstä.

The aim of our study was to determine how the preventive family work is seen from the family’s viewpoint and how the daycare personnel saw the cooperation with the preventive family work in Kouvola. In the study we also brought up the perspective of the preventive work of the maternity clinics and daycare in everyday life of the family. The theoretical part of the study contained the support for families with children in everyday life, the preventive family work in maternity clinics and participating of daycare. The study is built up on two different materials. The maternity clinics made a ques-tionnaire of preventive family work to 13 families and three interviewees to daycare personnel concerning co-operation between families and maternity clinics. The material collection was small but indicative. According to the results the preventive work of the maternity clinics has had an impact on everyday life of the families. The co-operation between daycare and maternity clinics is not yet active, but hopefully making some progress. Daycare is supporting the families every day with their work. It was remarkable to discover that both daycare and maternity clinics have same values by listening, appreciating and having trust and a dialogue. In this way the relation between a family and a co-worker is emphasized in both cases. We hope that the study awakes dialogues concerning cooperation between families, maternity clinics and daycare.
