How to integrate international students into private and business life in Ylivieska region

Abstract

This study is related to the situation of many internationals in Ylivieska area. During the last couple of years, students arrived from abroad to the Ylivieska area. These people face different kind of problems and tasks. The aim of this project was to try to help these people to integrate into the society.

The project used a website, where all the necessary information was collected. This website is available for everybody. If something is missing from the site, it is possible to contact the project leaders. Nowadays the easiest way to reach big amount of people is to use the Internet.

With the help the result of the project based on the opinion of the people who worked on it, it is possible to integrate foreign people, however it is not an easy task to achieve. It requires big amount of time, patience and probably the help of some individual, a person familiar with the processes in bureaucracy and other issues as well.
