ETIM tietojen lisääminen tuotteelle

Abstract

ETIM eli European Technical Information Model on tuotetietokannan muoto, joka mahdollistaa tuotetietojen siirron kieliriippumattomasti eri maiden välillä. ETIM:n tavoitteena on helpottaa globaalia taloutta ja mahdollistaa oikean tuotetiedon viennin maasta toiseen. ETIM on toistaiseksi käytössä vain Euroopassa, mutta tavoitteena on ottaa se käyttöön soveltuvasti ympäri maailmaa.

Opinnäytetyö käsittelee ETIM tuotetietokoodin rakennetta, sekä tuotetietojen lisäämistä tuotteille. Työssä käytetyt esimerkki tuotteet ovat Led-valaisimia, joita Winled Oy valmistaa.

Winled Oy:lle tuotettiin opas tuotetietojen luomiseen ja muuttamiseen ETIM tietojen mukaisiksi. Työn tekovaiheessa Winled Oy:lle tuotettiin myös ETIM tiedot tuotteille. Työ käsittelee ETIM:in rakennetta, työkaluja, joilla ETIM tuotetietoja voi tuottaa ja muokata, sekä ETIM pohjaisten tuotetietojen mahdollisia sovelluksia.

Tehdyllä ohjeistuksella Winled Oy pystyy tuottamaan ETIM tiedot tuleville tuotteilleen, sekä jakamaan tuotetietoja asiakkaille sekä mahdollisille jälleenmyyjille myös Suomen ulkopuolella.

ETIM which means European Technical Information Model is product detail form, which enables product detail transfer globally without being language dependent. ETIM aims to enhance global economy and enables correct product detail transfer. Currently ETIM is only used in Europe, but the aim is to implement it around the world.

The purpose of this thesis is to tell about ETIM product detail code and its implications on products. The products used on this thesis examples are Led luminaries which are manufactured by Winled Oy Ltd.

Work on this thesis produced guide for Winled Oy Ltd. to create and modify product details on ETIM format. Through work phase there were also produced ETIM product details for all Winled products.

Produced guide Winled Oy Ltd. manages to crate ETIM files for future products and share product details to customers and possible retailers outside of Finland.
